21 DAYS OF FASTING AND PRAYER
A Journey of Consecration and Rededication  

It's that time again! At the beginning of each year, T.A.G. Ministries, International has its annual fast to jumpstart the new year with fresh wind and fresh fire as we put away the old and put on the new!! On February 1, 2010, instead of a 40-day fast, we will have a 21-day fast that will focus on cleansing our bodies toxins and also cleansing our minds of toxic thoughts as we BREAK BAD HABITS.

 

When you get ready to plant a tree, you must first consider the soil (location); dig a hole (extraction) and then plant the seed (implantation). The tree will not grow over night but once the seed is planted....God will give the increase! This year, as we get ready to plant seeds of salvation, regeneration and sanctification, we must first dig the hole. We must root out all that is in us that is not like Christ. And sow a new mind, renewed in God's word.

 

We will dig up bad habits:

* Habits of bad eating (breaking the cycle of gluttony)

* Habits of bad thinking (breaking the cycle of stinkin' thinkin')

* Habits of bad speaking (breaking the cycle of negative words)

* Habits of bad doing (breaking the cycle of pre-meditated sin)

 

We will plant seeds of:

*habitual blessing (using our words to bless others)

*habitual witnessing (discovering creative ways to share God's word) *habitual studying God's word (growing in knowledge of God thru His word)

*habitual serving the community (using our actions to bless others)

 

This 21-Day fast will be a Journey of Consecration and Rededication... so prepare yourselves now! There are two books I want you to get:

The Day of Atonement is sometime in October. This day is a complete day of fasting and is ordained by Father YAH. He only had one day of the year for fasting. So lets not forget to keep this day as well. This is just for information.
