An Assured Promise from God: Isaiah 7:14 KJV

 Therefore, the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

 

As we approach the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, commonly known as Christ, I will be providing inspirational messages leading up to His birth. To remember the importance of the birth of Jesus Christ because there would be no Christmas to celebrate without the birth of Christ. 

God had promised humanity a Savior; this promise was fulfilled on Christmas morning with the birth of God's only Begotten Son to be the Savior of the world. The world needed a Savior because of sin, and God is a holy God, and desiring an intimate relationship with humanity sacrificed His Son as man's propitiator.

 

God the Father provides us with an assured sign of His Son's birth. Christ's birth would come from a virgin, and the child's name would be Immanuel, which means God with us.

 

God kept His promise as He always does.
