One of the disturbing trends that I have witness over the last several years has been the lack of Corporate Prayer. In the Gospel Jesus states that he wants His church to be a "House of Prayer for All Nations." Many of our churches are filled on Sunday morning and empty on prayer night. Our church is no different with over 250 people on Sunday and 10% on Monday for prayer.

Someone told me that is all we can expect is the remnant. But if that's true then why was Jesus emphatic about the "house of prayer." Why have we made the church everything but that? We have made it a "house of preaching" a "house of teaching" and a "house of worship." But where are those who pray?

EM Bounds states that "prayer is no child's matter" and that God is looking for men and women to once again seek Him corporately in prayer, How do we get people back praying? Does it take another 911 or something even more dramatic?
