Are We Here Or Just To Promote Ourselves???

I feel this social network is a great opportunity to meet fellow laborers in the faith and to share with one another, although I have noticed that many are here simply to promote their products.  Yes, I am a newly published Christian author, yet I enjoy good conversation.  I just wanted to know who else feels the same way.
