Being a Good Steward: Psalm 24:1

earth is the LORD'S, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

God gave man dominion over all His creations for us to be good stewards, but instead, humanity has been unwise in his management of God's resources. Humanity has failed to love and care for God's creations as He loved all creation, which includes mankind.

If the question was raised how has man inappropriately managed God's resources? The earth is a perfect example of how man has misused this planet; the earth is getting hotter because the ozone layers have holes in them from man going to the moon and outer space. We have and continue to pollute our waters which are a necessary resource that sustains life. Most of our rainforests have been destroyed to make way for development to support man's interest.

Our rainforests provide the necessary carbon dioxide which is a greenhouse gas, and producing oxygen. All animals depend on this oxygen to survive. Rainforests stabilize our climate, house incredible amounts of plants and wildlife, and produce nourishing rainfall all around the planet.

For years we have been warned about climate change and the devastating results from doing nothing, but those warnings were ignored. Today we are witnessing the effects of climate change from one aspect to another. Today wildfires are burning out of control in California, and just last year we witness one devastating hurricane after another.

Today's in the Whitehouse we have those who continue to deny climate change as being a real and ever-present danger to the earth. Something must be done immediately.
