Check the Enemy
You Know how we try to rebuke the enemy out of some one else? Or as soon as we have a problem we call it the devil? We blame so much on the enemy, and give him too much credit. this is what the word of the lord says, that Jesus has given us power and authority, because when we suffer with him we reign with him, and he says that where he is, that we can be also, and when the Holy spirit is come upon us that we will have power and He[ the Holy Spirit] will lead and guide us into all truth.
So how is it that we encounter so many attacts and blame everone of them on the enemy. James asks, what causes all of the fighting and quarreling among us is it not the thing in us, our perceptions and attitudes toward ourselves and one another. It is us, we are so easily offended by some of the smallest things. God is telling the Church to Catch the little foxes before they spoil the vine (Song of Solomon). So when we make a conscious decision to keep the enemy's suggestions, our old responses and behaviors bound from us then, we will see that God is totally in control and there is nothing new under the son.
Today I decided that I was not going to give the enemy anymore room in my life, that I needed to cast him out of ME rather than trying to cast him out from someone else. I choose to focus more on the things of God pertaining to Him, my Family, my Ministry, etc. rather than what another person is doing or trying to benefit from others; and begin to acknowledge God in all of my ways.... then I will find that peace that surpasses all understanding. I have made it a point to stop chasing the enemy out of others, and began to bind him off of me. Sometimes we can get caught in that game that is played in the church.... You know.... for position, and status, to BE SEEN, but I choose to be satisfied with an audience of Three in one.... The Father, His Son, And the Holy spirit. AMEN?!
