Divorce and Remarriage was never biblically meant to be a part of the christian Lifestyle:

 

It is only because of the hardness of the heart of mankind that divorce exist and has become the norm among Christians. Whom God puts together let no man put asunder.

 

If a relationship is built solely upon fleshly appeal, it is doomed from the start. Christians are instructed by the word of God to marry only in the Lord. If one first seeks to please God and committ and dedicate themselves first to living according to biblical standards they are more likely to become a quality lifelong committed spouse. Mankind will never be any more loyal to a spouse than they are first to God.

 

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteouness and all these things shall be added unto you.
