Do the scriptures address a woman (or man) enhancing or disabling reproduction?

How in the world does a woman with six children get a fertility doctor to help her have more — eight more?

THIS IS THE QUESTION EVERYONE IS ASKING.

This is the ethical debate over a Southern California woman who gave birth to octuplets this week had six children already. It is reported that the single mother was obsessed with having children since she was a teenager and did not want to get married.

This raises other questions for the Body of Christ.

1. Do the Scriptures address AIDING FERTILITY in any manner (nowadays we use fertility drugs; implanting fertilized eggs from one woman to another, surrogacy, sperm donations, etc.)

2. Do the Scriptures address DISABLING FERTILITY in any manner (birth control methods for both men and women, including married couples using condoms and the like or having fertility organs disabled.)

3. Is in vitro fertilization of a single woman considered fornication of both the woman and the sperm donor?
