Do you think the Church is Powerless?

Do you think the church is powerless?  It seems that the saints are focused on titles and have become complacent with doing almost nothing.  I don't see much evangelism going on and not much self-evaluation going on.  By self-evaluation, I mean trying to improve their character by not walking in pride or pointing fingers.  Moreever, working together as a five-fold ministry.  Sin is sin and has not color or a particular face for we are subject to it.  However, when we find ourselves in that state, we need to repent.  Is repentance old fashion or archaic?  Give me some feedback, please.
