GOD ,S PROMISES

GOD FROM THE BEGINNINGS HE MADE PROMISES TO VARIOUS PEOPLE ,EVEN TO US HOW THE DO WE RECEIVE THE FULFILLMENT OF THESE DIVINE PLEDGES.FOR I KNOW THAT GOD IS FAITHFULL IN FULFILLING HIS WORDS.HE PROMISED ABRAHAM, AND HE HAS YOUR PROMISE,HOW THEN DO I GRASP THE PROMISE. ALSO CAN WHAT GOD PROMISED FAIL TO HAPPEN AS A RESULT OF US FAILLING TO HONOR THE PROMISE

If God's promises were dependant on "What we do or don't do" God would be too limited to be God in the first place. Remember: 'I Cor. 2:9 & Isaiah 64:4 ... No one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love him'

What God has purposed for your life and mine is not only beyond our wildest imagination but also beyond our wildest deeds, and far surpassing our very best behaviour. 'For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance" Rom. 11:29

God will do it just because He said He would. He will bring the promise to pass simply because He promised. Abraham did all he could to disqualify himself from receiving the promises, i.e he lied, complained and scorned at time, see Gen.17:17. Yet every single thing God promised to him came to pass, and regardless.

According to Mark 7:13 Jesus said: "Making the Word of God of none-effect through your tradition, which you have delivered and many such like things do ye." KJV , The New Century Version puts it this way: "By your own rules, which you teach people, you are rejecting what God said. And you do many things like that."

Only through our own distorted beliefs and religeous traditions can we make the Word of God of no effect. Wrong believing leads to wrong living.
