I'd really like to know the answer to this. It seems to me that the majority of Christianity loves to disregard this certain aspect that should be apart of their daily walk. Here is a heart pounding, thought provoking question:

If Yeshuah gathered all Christians around the world, and He asked them the question,"Who wants to keep Torah?" How many of you Christians on here will actually say YES LORD! to Messiah??

You have TOTALLY ignored the fact that this is a total letter. If that is true, then include verse 6 in your discussion:

(King James Version) 6But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

7For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

8For finding fault with them (this speaking of the covenants mentioned before), he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

(New American Standard Bible) 6But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, by as much as He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises.

7For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion sought for a second.

8For finding fault with them, He says,
"BEHOLD, DAYS ARE COMING, SAYS THE LORD,
WHEN I WILL EFFECT (R)A NEW COVENANT
WITH THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL AND WITH THE HOUSE OF JUDAH;

I dont care what translation you dare to look at, the writer clearly said that the second covenant was made because there was flaw found within the first one!
Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Bible Commentary

Heb. 8: 8. finding fault with them-the people of the old covenant, who were not made "faultless" by it (Heb 8:7); and whose disregard of God's covenant made Him to "regard them not" (Heb 8:9). The law is not in itself blamed, but the people who had not observed it.
Treavor, how then do you fit into the NEW COVENANT?

Do you have the laws of the covemant/THE TORAH written on your heart?
Argue it there.....
What do verses 6 & 7 say? You can do all the explaining you want, so long as you can accurately quote those verses for me....
T-R-E-V-O-R!

And no, it is clearly explained in verses 6-7
OK, James lets start the blog discussion. Shall you write it or I?
trevor,

well, let all 3 of us debate it here
No, lets start a new one, that we ALL may see and learn. This isn't a private doctrine, so its not a private debate.
I'm starting it right now. The subjects for this debate are along two lines:

-Jeremiah 31 and Hebrews 8
-the Seal of the New Covenant

It will be under the Doctrine category
Well, this will be interesting!
