"The Church is Missional..That means The Church is sent into the world to continue that which Jesus came to do, in the power of the same Spirit, reconciling people to God. Jesus said, “As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you” (John 20:21).
"No one can say: ‘Since I’m not called to be a missionary, I do not have to evangelize to my friends and neighbors.’ There is no difference, in spiritual terms, between a missionary witnessing in his home town and a missionary witnessing in Katmandu, Nepal. We are all called to go—even if it is only to the next room, or the next block....Stay Blessed

There is a term that should be properly used for it. Back in the day it was Missionary-Minded; then it became Evangelical; today the term would be called Apostolic (no not the denomination either, but the Governmental movement of spreading the Kingdom of GOD wherever its not spread already).
Bless you Man of God.
I don't mean to be slow...lol
But can you explain further to me in regards to our missional assignment now being what is called Apostolic.
Sure thing:

"Apostolic" is NOT a denomination or nice sign on the outside of your Church building. Apostolic refers to a governmental movement from GOD. Far too long we have considered this faith a religion, but its not. We then started looking at it like "its a relationship", but that alone is a flaw-filled area. One would come along and say I have my own way of dealing with GOD, and you have yours, when in fact their way is not THE way. Such allows for the "Inclusive Gospel" to come and corrupt us. To say the term Church is to refer to the embassy of Heaven. The word Greek word "Ekklesia" (translated Assembly or Church) was a governmental phrase from the Greco-Roman government. Likewise, the term Apostolos (translated Apostle) means more than what we think. In today's terms, it would mean Ambassador/Emissary with the military might and potential of a Naval Admiral, and the very authority of the Emperor who sent him/her, thus making the Emperor KING of kings. Embassies were planted by force and land seizure. No treaties were made, for this was conquest of the surrounding territories.

Exodus 23:13 "Now concerning everything which I have said to you, be on your guard; and do not mention the name of other gods, nor let them be heard from your mouth.

Exodus 23:24 "You shall not worship their gods, nor serve them, nor do according to their deeds; but you shall utterly overthrow them and break their sacred pillars in pieces.

Exodus 34:12 "Watch yourself that you make no covenant with the inhabitants of the land into which you are going, or it will become a snare in your midst.

Deuteronomy 7:2 and when the LORD your God delivers them before you and you defeat them, then you shall utterly destroy them. You shall make no covenant with them and show no favor to them.

Apostle Paul spoke and said "the weapons of our warfare are no carnal". The Greek word for warfare there was "strateias".
*
Strongs Concordance: NT:4754 strateuomai (strat-yoo'-om-ahee); middle voice from the base of NT:4756; to serve in a military campaign; figuratively, to execute the apostolate (with its arduous duties and functions), to contend with carnal inclinations: KJV - soldier, (go to) war (-fare).
*
Strongs Concordance: NT:4752 strateia (strat-i'-ah); from NT:4754; military service, i.e. (figuratively) the apostolic career (as one of hardship and danger): KJV - warfare

The Mission that GOD has given us is a warfare mission, a mission to take over regions by force of the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST and the explosive power of the HOLY SPIRIT. Its peace-making, and loving when dealing with people, but violent in the Heavenly places when warring with demonic forces!

Its not about being slow at all! Many just never looked at it from this standpoint!
