I say no! All sin seperates us from a loving God. It was out of His love for us that he died on a cross and crucified all sin paying it's debt. Homosexuals are not hated by God and they are not hated by me. The sin they are in is no different than the sin that I struggle with day to day. Be careful about hate, it will eat you from the inside out. Love people, all people the way Christ loves you and me.

Sin is always death. The sin of homosexuals comes with horrible consequences. So does the sin of drunkeness and idolitry and so the list goes on and on. Jesus is the solution and the salvation for all men and for all sin. Thius may not be popular, but standing for Christ and resting in His word has never been the most popular thing to do. Love your neigbor is not a choice. Hate the sin love the sinner is what I have been told.

hate the sin, love the sinner, was a statement that was originated by Muhatma Ghandi, a Hindu Activist. The bible does not actually teach that.

No matter what the sin is, when one practices sin, that person will suffer eternal death. In that case, it does not matter who committed the greater sin, because if they practiced sin, they will suffer eternal destruction. Only those who keep the Lords commandments, and walk in the ways of the spirit are the ones that will see salvation, and eternal life.

be bless,
James

What man can keep all the commandments? I think I know what you mean, but the Bible teaching us in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. No man is righteous and no amount of good behavior can erase our sin. The sin debt must be paid. Jesus, the only sinless one died in our place and for our sins and whom ever believes on Him shall have eternal life. Being good is good, but not good enough. Is there anyone that can say they live a perfect life. Are we not all quilty of breaking the commandments? We are saved by grace through faith and that is not of ourself, not by work lest a man might boast, but by the grace of God through faith.

Israel, Jesus, the apostles, and the early apostolic church kept/practiced the commandments. Jesus was the only one that kept/practiced the commandments "perfectly. But, Israel, the Apostles, and the early Apostolic church kept/practiced the commandments of God.

1 John 2:3 - And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments.

1 John 5:3 - For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

To keep his commandments is to PRACTICE his commandments. All of us who love God will practice/keep his commandments

the perfect keeping is the one I was talking about. How many comandments does a man have to break to be considered condemed. Once a man is dead in his sin, what can he do to be born again, The commandments are esstial and worthy of keeping in the apostalic sence, but face it without Chirst we are in a lot of trouble

The bible states that when you break one, you break all. But, one cannot use that as an excuse to not practice the law. If a man is dead in his sin, then he has to repent of them. Whether in the apostolic era, or in the 21th century era, God's law is forever brother, and those who are grafted into the olive tree must keep it. I agree, without Christ, one is in trouble, but one cannot follow Christ if he does not keep/practice the commandments. Even Christ said," if you love me, keep my commandments"

i agree that you must keep the commandments and I would never excuse sin due to my failure, but I do grant grace and love to the sinner without joining him/her in their sin. I pray that God will give me the grace and the strenght to be faithful. when I fail I repent and lean on His forgivness by grace and by His strenght I joy in the Lord.

I believe that what is not being said is that the more we seek God, through His Son Jesus, and submit unto God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, only then are we able to keep His commandments, it's a slow process, as God purges out of us what is not of Him. Jesus lived on earth as a man, a lifetime of seeking God, Praying and re-newing in the way of the Father.

As we go through our storms and stand in faith in God's word that he has given us the power to withstand all temptation, noting is perfected in a day, over time do we learn to trust God and in His Power. the sins I enjoyed in my youth, I no longer enjoy and do not tempt me, new temptations are introduced into our lives every day, and some temptations that were not dealt with in our youth only come to bite us later in life.

When you met you girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife/ we said to them many times, "baby I love you" yet we did not honor them all the time. Yet over time we realized that some things we hold on to impeeds us from truly loving, it's in the letting go of the old and taking on the new that leads us to truly love and keep and honor what we hold close to our hearts.

Over time we keep His commandments because we have lived a life in real deep intimate relationship with the Father, so a natural by-product of this is that you begin to want to do what pleases Him, not because it's a commandment by because of love.

the Bible says that love covers a multitude of sin, and that the greatest commandment is to Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind and the second is to love your neighbor.

I Thank God for allowing me to read about keeping God'scommandments. Thank you brother, for your spiritual insight. I really needed that. I really want the love of Christ to dwell in me, so that I can please God in everything, through Love. I just received an e-mail from a friend about the rich man, and how Jesus loved him, but he also loved him enough to tell him the truth in love. I thank God for reading this; because I really want to Love enough to please God. I do believe that everything is a process. Only thing I can say is thank you God. I will continue to serve God with my heart, soul, and mind, and watch God prefect those things which concern me.

Heb 3:1-12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living Almighty One.--not trusting in the Father's Salvation.

Heb 3:13-19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Joh 16:7 Nevertheless I speak the truth to you. It is profitable for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send The Spirit to you.
Joh 16:8 And when The Comforter comes, this One will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

Joh 16:9 of sin, because they do not believe in Me;

Mat 12:31 But the blasphemy against the Spirit (speaking against).

This is the unpardonable sin.
In Mat_12:32 What is the blasphemy against the Set-Apart Spirit? These Pharisees had already committed it. They had attributed the works of The Spirit by whose power YahWeh wrought His miracles (Mat_12:28) to the devil (They knew the Truth).

That sin was without excuse and would not be forgiven in their age or in the coming one (Mat_12:32). People often ask if they can commit the unpardonable sin. Probably some do who ridicule the manifest work of YahWeh’s Spirit in men’s lives and attribute the Spirit’s work to the devil.

Be careful about "who you rail against", judge or called 'false teachers (workers); "try the spirit of the person and see if they are of YahWeh".

1Jn 4:1 My dear friends, do not believe all who claim to have the Spirit, but test them to find out if the spirit they have comes from YahWeh. For many false prophets have gone out everywhere.
1Jn 4:2 This is how you will be able to know whether it is YahWeh's Spirit: anyone who acknowledges that YahWeh haMashach came as a human being has the Spirit who comes from YahWeh (The Father).
1Jn 4:3 But anyone who denies this about YahWeh does not have the Spirit from YahWeh. The spirit that he has is from the Enemy of Mashach (Anti-Mashach); you heard that it would come, and now it is here in the world already.

1Jn 3:22 and whatever we may ask, we receive from Him, because His COMMANDS we keep, and the things pleasing before Him we do,

1Jn 3:23 and this is HIS COMMAND, that we may believe/trust in the Name of His Son YahWeh HaMashach, and may love one another, even as He did give command to us,

---In/On the Name of His Son — on all that is revealed in the Good News concerning Him, and on Himself in respect to His person, offices, and atoning work.

If perfect obedience was possible Christ death and resurrection is foolishness, The early church dealth with a group of jewish christians who taught that law and grace were on the same level. Paul had constant conflicts with this group and addressed there ignorance in his letter to the church in Galatia.15"We who are Jews by birth and not 'Gentile sinners' 16know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.
