I say no! All sin seperates us from a loving God. It was out of His love for us that he died on a cross and crucified all sin paying it's debt. Homosexuals are not hated by God and they are not hated by me. The sin they are in is no different than the sin that I struggle with day to day. Be careful about hate, it will eat you from the inside out. Love people, all people the way Christ loves you and me.

Sin is always death. The sin of homosexuals comes with horrible consequences. So does the sin of drunkeness and idolitry and so the list goes on and on. Jesus is the solution and the salvation for all men and for all sin. Thius may not be popular, but standing for Christ and resting in His word has never been the most popular thing to do. Love your neigbor is not a choice. Hate the sin love the sinner is what I have been told.

The point is not if I love the Law ( I do), nor is it that I do not desire obdeience, both out of common sence (wisdom) and love for what Christ has done for me. A good son follows the instruction of his father because it is his desire to please his father. One can talk about santification the walk we knwo after coming to a saving faith, and glorification our ultimate reward and release form this sinful world, when we shall be like Him. A man that says he has no sin is a liar (Apostle Paul) and the truth is not in Him. Now, if Christ is not your salvation, I can understand why you must lean on your commandment keeping to seek favor from a righteous God. But when you stand before God, I pray you have trusted Christ's work of redemption for you, because if you are relying on your perfection, or guiltlessness based on your own righteousness you will be disappointed and without hope.
I love Israel, I love Jewish people, I pray for their salvation. I pray that they see the love of their Saviour, but if we do not trust Christ we remain in our sin. If we know Christ we should seek obedience in the power of the holy spirit and seek to live righteous lives.

If we agree that salvation is by grace through faith alone, then we have no disagreement, but if we disagree on this position, than we can not agree on any doctrine. For without Christ we are lost and blind to the things of God. No one is against the Torah, for the law of God is just and those that seek to live by it will prosper. Grace does not change scripture, it changes men's hearts. Once I was in rebellion against God and His law. Now I seek to please God and follow His will for my life. I do not have a righteousness that is from the Law, which is not possible, but a righteousness that is given as a gift from God in the FINISHED WORK OF CHRIST. It is amazing that men still seek to find salvation in human effort and to somehow think that they canplease God with obedience to a Law no man has ever been able to keep. Yes we seek righteousness, Yes I strive to please God, but not unto salvation, but as a son that owes everything to A God who loved me so much that He gave His one and only Son to die in my place, because there is no other way to be righteous in the face of God, but through the person of Christ. The book of Hebrews and the book of Jeremiah explain this New Work of God in the hearts of man. If we agree on the work of salvation, we can fellowship in the delight of the Law, but if we do not agree in Salvation by grace through faith oini Christ, then there is no common doctrine to discuss. I pray that you know my heart is open to you discussion, but my devotion is unto the Lord.

the new testament is clear, that many will say Lord, Lord but do not know Him, its the heart, those who have made the decision in their hearts to follow Christ, God's only begotten Son, who is the only way to the Father.

No, it is not by good works, but if Christ is truly in our hearts, then good works is a result to that relationship. If we are seeking God, we are learning more about Him EVERYDAY, therefore our love for Him will grow and as a result, our eyes are opened to things we have been ignorant about before.

Jesus is the New Testament, He did not come to dispel the Law but to complete it, those truly in Christ are not under the Law, but beware, we can become in-snared by traps set up by the enemy (Satan) and many time we can refuse to allow God to do His good work in us to free us from some old things we still holding on to.

God loves us, and does not want anyone to Parrish, He sent His Son to pay the price for us, yet He was without sin and bore the cost. we were bought with a high price, so for me I try everyday to honor that cost, but the good news is that when I do stumble, I can ask for His forgiveness and He gladly gives it.

I don't agree with some of the things that you have said. If perfect obedience was obtainable by us (mere humans) then Christ would not have had to come and save us from ourselves. We could not fulfill the law so He had to come to fulfill it but not replace it. We are to strive to be Christ Like. There is no one perfect but the father that is what the bible says.

I do agree with you, however, my question is: When the Lord Jesus says:"Be ye perfect as thy Father in heaven is perfect", didn't he have in mind that it was possible for us to be perfect while here on earth before he comes again? Can't we be perfect as to the things of the Spirit?

Jas 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

1Pe 2:9 However, you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a sacred (perfect) nation, people who belong to YahWeh. You were chosen to tell about the excellent qualities of YahWeh, who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

2Pe 3:14 For this reason, my loved ones, as you are looking for these things, take great care that when He comes you may be in peace before Him, free from sin and every evil thing.

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives just as Mashach loved the church and gave His life for it.
Eph 5:26 He did this to dedicate the church to YahWeh by His Word, after making it clean by washing it in water,
Eph 5:27 in order to present the assembly to Himself in all its beauty---pure and faultless, without spot or wrinkle or any other imperfection.

2Co 5:21 Mashach was without sin, but for our sake YahWeh made Him pay the debt for our sins in order that in Union with Him as believers we might share the righteousness/perfection of YahWeh.----be restored

Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

the beauty is that those in Christ, is covered. a repentant heart towards our sin is forgiven, this is God's grace. the bible says no man is perfect, God already knew we would mess up, that's why we have the blood of Jesus and Jesus is always praying and pleading to the Father on our behalf.

God know we would mess up. but if we hold on to our faith, we will continue to grow in our faith, become stronger in our faith, and learn to stand firm in our faith. and on that day when the Lord returns for His people, we will be given our new glorified bodies, completed in the perfection in which we were originally created before the fall of Adam.

Read Matt. 5:28 He said to be perfect as He is perfect, we can never be perfect within our selves, but through Christ we are perfected. Read 2 Cor. 3:11, Eph. 4:13, Heb. 6:1 in King James version.

That was the reason He died so that we could be saved from sin, read Romans 6 chapter and the 8 chapter. How can the Christ in us allow us to sin. His dying is in vain if HIS SALVATION isn't strong enough to keep us from sinning. You can be kept only if you want to be kept.

"when one practices sin, that person will suffer eternal death."
hello... I would like to ask 2 questions
1. what do you mean by "practice" sin? Are you referring to those who intentionally & continually do wrong against God?
I ask the 1st in my attempts to better understand the 2nd 1/2 of your statement.

2. Is there a biblical reference that you can share regarding eternal death being charged for practicing sin?

Reply to This

Read Romans 6:23 The wages of sin is death which neans eternal death.

NO MAN CAN KEEP THE LAWS OF GOD UNLESS THEY HAVE RECEIVED THE POWER OF GOD IN THEIR FLESH. THE PURPOSE OF THE CRUXION AND RESURRECTION WAS TO FREE US FROM ALL SIN AND SINNING. THE WORD ASK THE QUESTION SHALL WE CONTINUE IN SIN ? PAUL SAID GOD FORBIDS.SO NO MAN CAN KEEP THE LAWS UNLESS THEY HAVE BEEN BORN AGAIN. HE TOLD NICODIMEUS YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN NOT OF THE FLESH BUT OF THE SPIRIT. GOD"S WORD SAID BE YE PERFECT AS MY FATHER IN HEAVEN IS PERFECT.IT HAPPENS DAILY THROUGH OBEDIENCE. PAUL SAID I DIE DAILY.

How can you make such a statement that the Bible does not teach us to love the sinner? What does it mean to you when the Master, Jesus-Christ, says:"Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"?
