I'm not gay or bisexual & never have been, gotta say that in today's generation before I ask my question concerning gay topics. I would like to know how do folks feel about same sex black Greeks getting married? To me, personally, it's none of my business, but I know folks have there own opinion.
It's not a shocker to me that two people that belong to a very, very large influential organization, Church, Fraternity or Sorority is bisexual or gay. If u have any organization that's been around for over 100 years & have over a million plus members such as the Freemasons, Prince Hall or International Freemasons & the Order of the Eastern Star Organization, Scottish Rite & York Rite, Black Greeks or Church based Organizations u are gonna have closet or open bisexual, gay & lesbian members. Do these folks manipulate others by using the illustrious name of the organization, fraternity or sorority? Do they target people & try to manipulate other members to go after their target? Are they using the illustrious name & number of members to hide behind? It's power in numbers so it is a danger here, because these organizations have a huge influence on young kids, teenagers & young adults. I will say, not all bisexual, gay or lesbian members have an alternative motive. Other than that, it's none of my business.
Here's the article:
Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Brothers
In what is by far the most posh wedding extravaganza among black gay men, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. brothers Robert Brown and Nathaneal Gay reportedly married on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012 in Kentucky. The crimson-and-creme (official Fraternity colors) themed ceremony was complete with American Beauty roses, sweethearts (aka bridesmaids, but groomsmaids in this case), a horse-drawn carriage and the couple’s dogs, one bearing a sign that reads: “Here Come the Grooms.” –yvette caslin Check out the video for yourself by clicking continue. It’s a photo gallery with Jennifer Hudson’s “If This Isn’t Love” playing in the background as the soundtrack.
How many support this marriage? Better yet should same sex marriage couples be able to adopt? What about file joint federal income tax returns with their partner & have other federal benefits, such as adoption? What about social security death benefits and COBRA continuation insurance coverage & other benefits the traditional marriage couple share?
I stand corrected, only one of the men is a Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity brother, not that it make it much difference in the court of public court gossip.
It's a funny side to this story, u know these guys are very professional, right? And if u look at the marriage ceremony it's obvious these two guys are making a lot of greenbacks & may make smart investment decisions, right? A perfect catch for a any woman, right? The funny side of the story is that it's a lot of women that's very upset. "That man! stole my man!". lol.
