KING JAMES VERSION ~~ An authority?~~~~ or ~~~ A Hindrance to Christianity ?

Who has made the King James Version of the Bible, " The Authoritative Version?

What View of the Torah does it foster?

Should we rely more upon a Hebraic Version of the Torah?

Why is everyone so attached to the King James Version, in the West?

King James did not like Jews. He and his cohorts held the fact that the Jews would charge interest on loans and other business to non-Jews. He would impose a tax on the Jews which worked in his country and take a percentage of out of their pay checks for the Community ( something like a tithe) but it was 8%. He allowed the bible to be written in Elizabethan English because he really was against the project, because Jews were included in the project.

The credit was given to King James (KJV), but all he wanted was for the Catholic Church to change the rules so he could divorce his wife and marry another woman. This is how with Anglican church of England Began.

Of course the positive thing is that by having the KJV, it was made more accessible , to the (Common people). So the Lord used this and turned it into a positive thing for His people. Because The Catholic Churches had the bibles chained to the pulpits. It was rare for congregants to have a copy of the bible.

My concern is that most people do not know the history of the KJV and they "swear that everyword in the KJV" and the way it is interpreted is the only way! Persons get in heated arguments because they may not have the full meaning and intent of the author of the books, in the bible. Some people worship the KJV, more than they worship Yahweh.

I suggest that we study~~ ourselves~~ to be approved and reproved by Almighty Yahweh. Do not just take what one hears without getting your own understanding of the Word. It is the preachers, teachers, pastors' jobs to allow one to
be exposed to the Gospel. Getting understanding of that word is incumbent upon the hearer.

We should avail ourselves with more than the Greek versions of scripture. Hebraic Versions also exist and should be considered for understanding what the Creator mandated to all believers. Don't you agree?

Correction: King Henry the VIII wanted a divorce from his wife, and wanted the Catholic Church to change church rules so he could remarry, hence, he made himself the head of the Church of England.

Pardon the error!

Whats wrong with the KJV?
I have submitted two posts with my comments!
Brenice
Brenice,

I agree. In fact, the Hebrew New Testaments that are Salkinson-Ginsberg Hebrew New Testament, and F. Delitzsch's New Testament. Delitzsch's New Testament is a literal version, and Salkinson-Ginsberg's New Testament is Idiomatic Hebrew.
Other than the issue that is currently being discussed, about the names of God, and other that the original Hebrew and Greek, can you name a more complete version of the bible that directly translates the original words to English?
Eccl,

You can buy the Gospel of Matthew in Old Testament Hebrew. As for version that are in English from the Hebrew for the whole NT, we currently do not have them.
My point is Brothers,

Why go through all of that hardship of having to figure out what those words in the King James Version, really mean, when there are Versions out there which "cut to the chase". Right?

Brenice
Dr,

Textual Criticism is a worthy field, but you must be careful.
Thank You Brother, Suggestion recieved (*+*)

This is one. Be Blessed ! http://hnvbible.org/">

Brenice
Dr,

That bible only adds the Hebrew names, but its not a translation from the Hebrew. At least the NT isnt.
