I have observed that there are many African Americans who are attending White churches,; however very few white christians attend or join black churches,  Why the disparity?  These white evangelical churches tend to be extremely conservative, politically, they  lean toward the right wing of the Republican Party and support the policies of the Tea Party as well as the Republican Party.  A recent study has revealed that the Teabaggers are hostile towards immigrants and "cool" towards African Americans.  Gov.Rick Perry of Texas and contender for the Republican Nomination opposed both the Voting Rights Act as well as the Civil Rights Act.  Michelle Bachmann mentioned how good slavery was and that the "Founding Fathers" tried to end slavery, although the majority of them were slaveholders.  Sarah Palin is an evangelical Christian but yet she whipped up a mob mentality calling for then candidate Obama's head.  So how do we square these issues with blacks being involved in white churches with their racial hypocrisy.  I am an observer of cultural behavior, and what I see I find to be very disturbing.
