New Beginnings!

I've come a long way since a year has passed.

I've been baptized and set free and now I stand fast.

I praise the Lord today for hearing my prayers, thoughts, needs, and wants.

Since He's the only one I can rely on, He's become my confidante.

He has picked me up from my pits of desperation,

He cleaned me off from the blood of the lamb without hesitation,

He showed me His light for inspiration and let me know I've been re-born without no limitation.

So I move forward with determination, knowing that I have an obligation that only through His communication will I receive revelation.

I think back on how my soul was flawed and now it's been re-newed only by an act of God.

He wiped out my giants like a firing squad and now nothing exists like a facade.

Then I began to move into His favor,

I smelt the salt, so I savor the flavor, 

As the sea tried to make me waver,

He threw out His life-saver and my spirit became braver because of the change in my behavior.

So I have give Him the praise, the glory, and the honor,

to my Heavenly Father, He could have turned His back, but then I would be a goner and everything I worked hard for would have been a dishonor.

So I keep Him first in my life, as if we are husband and wife.

And I learn to submit to His ways so that I will never go astray from the promise that He has made, that as long as I obey, He will be with me for the rest of my days!
