It is amazing to me as I meet with other clergy in and out of the eucumenical environment the pride, arrogance, and self centeredness that pervades the entire encounter. We need to remember our depraved state and that at best we are grass, one minute we are flourishing but in a moment will be cut down, like water one minute and vapor another. Practice humility everyday. If you are pastor who has "arrived" take time for those who seek you out for advice. Don't corrupt your call by thinking that you are more than you are at best you are a servant and at worst you are still a sinner.
