The bible clearly describes Jesus as having "hair like wool" - as well as a few other features.

This is along the features of a Black man's hair texture ... a afro.

Yet, back in 1475 or 1476 Cesare Borgia, son of Pope Alexander VI.

Pope Alexander VI, given name Rodrigo Borgia, Roman Catholic Pope from 1492 until his death,

is the most memorable of the corrupt and secular popes of the Renaissance.

It was he who set his son's face, Cesare, to defame Jesus and deceive Christians to believing that

the image Cesare was Jesus. Even to this day the numerously used image os blonde Jesus with the sad eyes posted in sooooooooooooooo many churches and homes is actually the image of Cesare.

Of course if someone wants to set you on the wrong track and they know the right track, they will truly neevr share with you ALL the information needed for you to be on the right track.

A slave master must keep his slaves in check at all times - somehow.

Have you done your research on this image of Jesus which has been circulated for hundreds of years?

What's you feedback about this?

Cesare Borgia is in the book entitled Triptych of Poisoners, and is also in the book entitled Cesare Borgia His Life and Times by Sarah Bradford. Between 1502 and 1503, he employed Leonardo da Vinci as a military architect and engineer, in which he and Leonardo da Vinci became intimate instantaneously, they were lovers. To express his love towards Cesare, Leonardo painted many pictures of him. Cesare's Father Rodrigo Borgia, who later became Pope Alexander VI, under the authority of the Catholic Church Elite, had his son picture put up as Jesus Christ in the Western World. Cesare had sex with his own sister Lucrezia, and he killed his brother Giovanni in 1497, and this is the man whom the Catholic Church gave their consent to allowing his picture to be put up and portrayed as Jesus Christ to deceive the whole world to think Christ was European. See what most people don't know is, there was a competition during the time called the Renaissance period, between Leonardo da Vinci and the well known Michelangelo. The competition was to see who could impress the king by a making a new image of the King's son that would deceive the world, in which Leonardo da Vinci won the competition.

Generally, I think most people realize that Jesus, in his earthly walk, would have looked like the people of the region--dark skinned and dark haired (like the Sephardic Jews).

It may just be a sign of psychological health that believers have historically pictured Jesus in their minds as sharing their own physical features. When the Medieval  Italian painted a "Jesus" with an aquiline nose and olive skin tone, or the Dutch master visualized him with blond hair and blue eyes, they might simply have been identifying with the savior.

Good day.

You did not address the ORIGIN of the image of Jesus used.

The "image" used of Jesus comes from a murderer named "CESARE BORGIA" who's father was POPE VI.

The image of CESARE was circulated to deceive the world into thinking it is a likeness of Jesus.

But you assume the contemporary audience that viewed da Vinci's artwork thought it was an accurate likeness of Jesus... as if da Vinci teleported 1400 years into the past to make a first-hand portrait of the Christ. That is silly internet rumor tripe. People during the Renaissance knew better than we do today how living models were employed to sit for paintings--even paintings of historical events and personages. Contemporaries of da Vinci knew that living people were the models for his paintings of biblical figures. They weren't ignoramuses.

Besides the so called Cesare Borgia "Jesus" image (reputed to be the one above, right) bears little resemblence to da Vinci's most famous "Jesus" image, Christ from The Last Supper (above, left). If it were true that da Vinci wanted to promulgate Borgia's likeness as that of the historical Jesus, why didn't he use Borgia to model for his most celebrated painting?

I dont think it matters what he looked like.

We better start living like him.

If he has sandy blond hair with green eyes and he lived a holy life died for my sins and rose from the grave - so be it.

If he looks like the Japanese Jesus that are depicted in their culture and did those wonderful things so that we might be raised with Him at the end of the world - so be it.

It dont matter.
