There are many misconceptions about who are the true Israelites of the Bible, and are those the Israelites of the Bible in Israel today? Most people believe a Jew is a person who practices Judaism. That is true as far as Judaism is concerned, but the Bible does not support it. This concept of who the Israelites really are will show you the difference.

What advantage then hath the Jew? Or what profit is there of circumcision?(Romans3:1) Now he asked a question, what is the advantage of being a Jew, and being circumcised. The next verse is going to answer that question. Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God.(Romans3:2) That is the advantage, they were given the oracles of God or Word of God. Then he is going to ask two more questions. For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without affect?(Romans3:3) In other words, if the Israelites were given the Word of God, shall their unbelief cause the word of God not to be true. Here is the answer. God forbid; yea. let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, that thou mightest overcome when thou art judged.(Romans3:4) In other words; no, let the word of God judge every man, and anything other than the word of God be a lie. Now we know what is the big deal about being an Israelite. They were given the word of God to learn and teach.

Now we are going to find out who the Israelite are, and where they came from according to the Bible, and history. We are going to start all the way back to after the flood, and Noah’s sons. Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah; Shem, Ham, and Ja’-pheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.(Genesis10:1) Let’s confirm that in history. Noah’s son’s were Shem, Ham, and Japhet. Ham became father of the Hamatic peoples, and Japhet was the father of peoples of Asia Minor, and Europe.(World book Encyclopedia, volume 14, 443) The ancient Egyptians were Hamites.(World book Encyclopedia, volume 9, 33) The ancient Egyptians had dark skin and dark hair(World Book Encyclopedia, volume 6,134) From history we did find out that Noah did have three sons, and out of his son Ham came the Egyptians who were a dark race of people. They don’t look like a dark race of people today and this is why: Over the years, many groups of people have invaded Egypt and intermarried with the native Egyptians. As a result, present-day Egyptians can trace their ancestry not only to the ancient Egyptians, but also to such groups as Arabs, Ethiopians, Persians, and Turks; and Greeks, Romans, and other Europeans. (World Book Encyclopedia, volume6, 121) So, we know that Egypt used to be a dark race of people before they were invaded, and mixed with Arabs. This information on Egypt will be significant later.

Now out of Shem came the Semitic peoples; the Hebrews, and then the Israelites. Out of Abraham; the father of the Hebrews, came Isaac, who fathered Jacob and Esau. Isaac had a wife named Rebekah, and she was pregnant with twins, and she had a hard time with the pregnancy. She went to the Lord about it, and this is what he told her.And the Lord said unto her, two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and one people shall be stronger than the other people; and the elder shall serve the younger. (Genesis25:23) And the first came out red, all over like an hairy garment; and they called him Esau. And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob (Genesis25:25-26) Now Esau was the first born who should receive the blessing to become God’s people or the people who God gave the word, but he is going to sell his birthright to Jacob. If you remember, the Lord said that the older would serve the younger, so God predicted that Esau would sell his birthright. And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called E-dom. And Jacob said, Sell me this day thy birthright. And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point to die: and what profit shall this birthright do me? And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he sware unto him: and he sold his birthright unto Jacob.(Genesis25:30-33) So Jacob received the birth right or the oracles of God. If you read Genesis chapter 27, it will tell you how Isaac ended up blessing Jacob instead of Esau. Esau eventually became the father of the E’-do-mites because remember he was called E-dom. And these are the generations of Esau the father of the E’-do-mites in Mount Se’-ir:(Genesis36:9) Keep Mount se’-ir in mind, now Jacob grew up, and eventually had twelve sons, which were the twelve tribes of Israel or Jacob. One of these sons would become second in command in Egypt, and Jacob, which God changed his name to Israel, and the other sons would eventually move to Egypt with Joseph, who was their brother and that is how the children of Israel eventually became slaves in Egypt. The Israelites and Egyptian history are closely related because Israel was in bondage for 430 Years. The Israelites and the Egyptians looked a lot alike, so people mistaken them for Egyptians at times. Remember that the ancient Egyptians are a dark race of people. You can read about all of this in Genesis Charters 37-41.

Now we are going to pick it up when the Egyptians decided to enslave the Israelites. Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob. Ruben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Is’-sa-char, Zeb’-ulun, and Benjamin, Dan, and Naph’-ta-li, Gad, and Asher. And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already. And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation. And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them. Now there arose a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph. And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we: Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falleth out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land. Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for pharaoh treasure cities, Pi-thom and Ra-am’-ses. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel. And the Egyptians made the children of Israel serve with rigour; And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in morter, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.(Exodus1:1-14) The Israelites were in bondage to Egypt, and they built the pyramids, and temples, and the clothes, etc. Moses then came on the scene, and he was found by the daughter of the Pharaoh of Egypt, and she took him as her own because she looked just like him, and figured he was an Egyptian. Moses grew up to know he was an Israelite, and hated how the Egyptians treated them, but the Egyptians didn’t know he was an Israelite. He killed an Egyptian for beating one of his Israelite brothers, and had to flee. You can read that in Exodus chapter 2. As he was fleeing he sat down by a well, and that is where we are going to pick it up. Now the priest of Mid’-i-an had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father’s flock. And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their father’s flock. And when they came to Reu’-el their father, he said, How is it that ye are come so soon today? And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock. Now if the Egyptians were a dark race of people, and the Israelites looked like them. What color were the Israelites? Now we all know the story of Moses, and God delivering the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by the hand of Moses. The Lord had Moses part the Red Sea, and everything. Now we are going to see what happened to the Israelites in the land of Israel. They were in the wilderness 40 years, and they finally made it in the land. Remember they were given the word of God, so if they didn’t practice the word of God, God is going to punish them if you follow the stories of Moses. You can read them from Exodus to Deuteronomy.

We are going to see when God punished them, and what he did to them. We are also going to see even after Jesus’ death, Israelites were still being confused with Egyptians. First we are going to see in history that Israel was just not the Jews, and being a Jew is not a religion, it is a nationality. The divided kingdom. After Solomon's death about 922BC, the 10 northern tribes split away from the tribes of Benjamin and Judah in the south. The northern kingdom continued to be called Israel. The two southern tribes kept Jerusalem as their capital and called their kingdom Judah. The word Jew comes from Judah. although the two kingdoms were divided politically, they remained united in their religious beliefs. The Jews continued to regard themselves as one people descended from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob and devoted to the teachings of Moses.(World Book Encyclopedia, volume11, 119) So, Jew comes from Judah, and not Judaism. We are going to look at where Judaism came from too. Now we are going to look at history and the 10 tribes of Israel who were kicked out of Israel for disobeying the Lord. During the 700’s BC, a people called the Assyrians conquered much of the Middle East, including the northern kingdom of Israel. The people of Israel scattered and gradually adopted the ways of the peoples among whom they settled. These northern tribes disappeared as a separate people, and so they are known as the ten lost tribes.(World Book Encyclopedia, volume 11, 119). From the 700’s BC until 70AD there were only Jews in Israel. Now, let’s read about the Jews of the Bible, and this is when Jesus predicted that the Jews would be carted of into captivity. And when you shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.(Luke21:20) And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem will be trodden of the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.(Luke21:24) Now Jesus predicted this about 30AD.Last time I checked, Gentiles ran the world. The times of the Gentiles are not fulfilled, and won’t be fulfilled until the second coming of Jesus Christ.

This is after Jesus’ death, and Israelites are still being confused with Egyptians. Now Paul is talking about his conversion to believe in Jesus Christ to be the Messiah, but look how the Greek mistakes him for an Egyptian. Art not that Egyptian, which before these days madest an uproar, and leddest out into the wilderness four thousand men that were murderers? But Paul said, I am a man which as a Jew of Tar’-sus, a city in Ci-li’-ci-a, a citizen of no mean city: and I beseech thee, suffer me to speak unto you. If the Egyptians were a dark race of people, then the Israelites were a dark race of people, even the Jews. Now we are going to look at Jesus’ prediction in history. Luke 21:24 happened in 70AD. About June 16, 70AD, the Romans launched an all out attack on the towers north of Herod’s palace and on the fortress of Antonia, The Romans used siege machinery, and dikes, but the was fended off. Titus ordered a siege wall to be thrown around the city to starve out the defenders. By decree of Titus, all of the inhabitants of Jerusalem taken into captive and all its building were burned to the ground. Only three towers around which they camped were left standing, and the ruins of the region was placed under surveillance.(New Catholic Encyclopedia, volume 7, 191) It happened in history, just as Jesus predicted in the Bible.

Now we are going to focus on E-dom to see what they were doing through all this time. Edom was an ancient kingdom that is often mentioned in the old testament. It stood southeast of the Dead Sea in what is now southern Jordan. The Edomites spoke a language similar to Hebrew and probably worshipped many gods. The country’s rich copper and iron mines contributed to the splendor of the Kingdom of Israel, which had conquered Edom under David. An Arab people called the Nabateans invaded Edom during the Persia period of the 500’s and 400’s BC. As a result, many Edomites fled to southern Judah. They helped establish a territory there know as Idumea. The Hasmonean dynasty conquered the Idumaeans in the 100’s BC, and converted them to Judaism.(World Book Encyclopedia, volume 5, 83) When the Assyrian Empire had been defeated by the Babylonians, the Edomites became subject to the latter. Later, when the people of Judah had been conquered and exiled by the Babylonians, the Edomites saw an opportunity to take for themselves a portion of the defenseless land of Judaea. In the times of Jesus Christ, the Edomites, now a mixed people known as the Idumaeans were ruled by the Herod family who ruled Jerusalem. King Herod; called Herod the Great was Idumaean, and ruled as a Jew.(New Catholic Encyclopedia volume 5, 87) So, Edom tried to take Jerusalem when the Israelites were kicked out for a time, and in 70AD, they took all of the land. Then they were kicked out by the Romans in 131AD, thus the great dispersa, but the Jews were already in captivity. So those people who say the are Jews are Jews because of Judaism, and not the Jews of the bible. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them come and worship before thy feet, and know that I have loved thee.(Revelation3:9) For thy violence against thy brother Jacob shame shall cover thee, and thou shalt be cut off forever. In the day that thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers carried away captive his forces, and foreigners enter into his gates, and cast lots upon Jerusalem, even thou was one of them. But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in their day of distress.(Obadiah10:12) This is talking about in 70 AD when Edom went in and took the land, and stayed there 60 years before the Romans kicked them out. That is why now the Edomites are considered Jews. They were the last to be in the land, and Edom knew that if they didn’t say they were the Jews, the real Israelites could find there heritage, and try to take their rightful land. The rest of the world had no idea, and in 1948, after WWII, the Edomites possing as Jews got the land back because when they were kicked out they contiued to call themselves Jews. They are fighting the Palistinians because when the Romans kicked out the Edomites the Palistinians slid in their and called it Palistine. They have been fighting ever since.

When God gathers Israel again, he is going to gather all 12 of the tribes, not just the Jews. Therefore behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that they shall no more say, The Lord liveth, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The Lord liveth, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries whither I have driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land. The Lord didn’t say that I will bring Judah back, and get the other 10 tribes later. He said all of the seed of the household of Israel. Now here is where the religion of Judaism came from, and pay close attention where these Jews came from. You will see that they came from the countries that Hitler mass murdered them, and those are the Jews who came to Israel is 1948, not the Jews of the Bible because they are still in captivity. They are not in physical bondage, but spiritual bondage because they don’t know who they are for the most part. Hasidism is a movement in modern Judaism. Followers believe that God is everywhere, and there is no cause for despair or unhappiness. They believe they can best serve God by expressing joy. Hasidism emphasizes joyous prayer. In their religious services, followers sing and dance a great deal. Baal Shem Tov, a Jewish teacher, and his followers founded Hasidism in Poland and Lithuania about 1760. The movement spread rapidly throughout eastern Europe. By the late 1700s, Hasidic settlements had been established in Palestine. Haskalah was a religious cultural movement that tried to modernize traditional Jewish beliefs and practices. Haskalah is the Hebrew word for enlightenment. The movement began among German and Polish Jews during the late 1700s and spread to other Jewish communities in Europe.(World Book Encyclopedia, volume 9, 83)

You see that the international community placed the wrong Jews back in the land, but was that by accident. I will leave you with this. We know that the Jews disobeyed God, and they were kicked out of the land. Read Deuteronomy chapter28, and those are the curses on the Israelites. Apply those curses to black people in America, and the islands of the western hemisphere, and you will see that they are the descendant of Jacob. Those Jews over there are the descendants of Esau. Now you know why the Arabs don’t like Israel. Now you know why the Africans don’t care for black people in America to come back to the so-called homeland. They know that Africa is not their land. If any black person in the western hemisphere has descendants who were slaves is an Israelite. Believe it or don’t believe it, but if it is in the Bible it is true, and history also tells us. With that said Israel, what are you going to do? Hope that it is not true or do something about it. The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ will set things in their proper order , but then it is too late.
Keep the Commandments of God.(Ecclesiastics12:13-14)Let us here the conclusion of this whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Here are some web-sites you can get with to do the Sabbath Day lessons, and email them or call. You will be welcomed with open arms! www.houseofjacob.us or theisraelofgod.com The Sabbath is the 7th Day, and it is the Lord’s Sabbath. Read Leviticus23:3,Exodus20:8-11,Genesis2:1-3. If you think Jesus nailed the Laws to the cross, here it is in the new testament in the last book on the last page of the Bible: Revelation22:12-14 Here are the commandments, feasts, and ordinances we are to keep to the Lord God of Israel.
The 10 Commandments

I. Thou shalt not have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven images, or likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water underneath the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I am the Lord thy God am a jealous god,
II. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord thy God will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
III. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days thou shalt labor, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested on the seventh day; wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and Hallowed it.
IV. Honor thy father and thy mother, as the Lord thy God has commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land the Lord thy God hath given thee.
V. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
VI. Thou shalt love thy neighbor as ye love thyself.
VII. Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Ra’-ca, shall be in danger of the council: But whosoever shall say, thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
VIII. Thou shalt not commit adultery. But I say unto you, that whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.
IX. Thou shalt not bare false witness against thy neighbor.
X. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife, neither thy neighbor’s house, his field, his manservants, his maidservants, his oxen, or his ass, or anything that thy neighbor has.
* Keeping these commandments seeds eternal life, and they are not grievous. Read Matthew19:16-24, and then read 1John5:1-4!!!!

Animals you can Eat:Whatsoever parteth the hoof, and is clovenfooted, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that shall ye eat.
Animals you cannot Eat: Nevertheless these shall ye not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. And the coney, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. And the hare, because he cheweth the cud, but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you. And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean unto you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and of their carcass shall ye not touch; they are unclean unto you.
Fish you can Eat: These shall ye eat of all that are in the waters; whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall ye eat.
Fish you cannot Eat: And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you: They shall be even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat their flesh, but ye shall have their carcasses in abomination. Whatsoever have no fins nor scales in the waters, shall be an abomination unto you.
Birds you cannot eat: And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, And the vulture, and the kite after his kind; Every raven after his kind; And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind, And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl, And the swan, and the pelican, and the gier eagle, And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat, All fowls that creep, going upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.Birds you can Eat: Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth; Even these of them ye may eat; the locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.

Keeping all these things will seed eternal life.. If you don’t understand, get some understanding!!

Hez,

Yah is not concern about who's blood is hebrew. True Hebrews are them that keep Torah, and of course, believe on Yeshua. It is not about whether or not the Hebrews in Israel today are real Hebrews. WHO CARES! Israel has ALWAYS been a mixed multitude of people. You know this, brother. When the final Aliyah happens, Israel will again be a mixed multitude of people. So, its better to stop preaching "true israelism" by blood, and start preaching true Israelism by OBEDIENCE.

Shalom
Eureka!!!!!!!!!!
We have converted Brother James.
I knew that it would be just a matter of time and patience and love and diligent guidance.
One down and about four to go.

Here we come --> Hez, Pharoah, Zealot, Eccl, et al.
Newview,

You never converted me. You are very foolish. I never held "true hebrew" doctrine in the first place. Yah rebuke your ignorance.
Sorry Newview,

I don't see a conversion taking place in Bro. James. As long as a person insist on being yoked with the OT Laws, there will be no conversion.

*sigh*
Chaplain,

Was Yeshua yoked with OT laws when He was on earth?
James,

For the umpteenth time . . .Jesus fulfilled the Law. Besides, the Word cannot and will not yoke Himself.

Go figure!
Chaplain,

Fullfill does not mean done away, though. The Torah is still to be kept. Its even part of the new covenant. It's a decree. You can check it out if you want to(Jeremiah 31:31-34). You said that I was yoked with the Torah. Basically your saying that Torah is bondage.

So my question is: Was Yeshua in bondage... keeping Torah??

Yeshua "performed" the law. That is a far cry from taking it away. Read 2 Thessalonians 2. There is a deception that is involved in keeping people in sin. The devil does not want you to be righteous. He wants you to think that you are scum that is incapable of righteousness. Yeshua was sent to prove to you that you are capable of perfection and then he told you to be it.

Matthew 5:48 - Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Matthew 5 should sound familiar because that is where we read:

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil {"PERFORM"}. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. 21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Now let me share with you how I understand the above and you can try to correct me if you think I'm in error.

In the above Yeshua is saying that he did not come to destroy the law but to do it, to PERFORM it. He did not say he did it so that you wouldn't have to. That would effectively be the same as destroying it. In order for his first statement to be true the law would have to remain in a "non-destroyed" state. Because if it isn't then his first statement about not coming to destroy the law is a fictional statement. Therefore when a person says they don't have to keep the law because it was done away with they are effectively saying that Yeshua destroyed it which he said he did not come to do. That is point #1.

Point #2. The person who breaks the commandments (these same commandments, not a different set) and teaches people to do the same will be called the least in the kingdom. You cannot break commandments that do not exist. And there is no other definition, no other set of commandments being used to qualify who is greatest or least in the kingdom.

Point #3. Your righteousness has to exceed that of the scribes and pharisees in order for you to make it into the kingdom. This is a far cry from the one standard Christianity tends to promote which is that all you have to do is believe in Jesus name. That is exactly what the devil wants you to do; believe on his name and that's it. But Yeshua says there is a standard and you have to be at least this tall to ride this ride. It just so happens that the scribes and pharisees were spiritually-challenged. On the outside they made themselves look like they were keeping the law when they WERE NOT. That's another thing. The devil wants you to think that they were examples of keeping the law so that you have justification for abandoning it. But Yeshua doesn't introduce some new standardization for qualifying righteousness. He doesn't say "just believe that I am the Christ" nor does he introduce a new set of commandments here. Read what he says with open eyes and an open heart.

21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

That is not a new law. That is quoted straight from Exodus 20. He doesn't say that there will come a time when you can kill and NOT be in danger of the judgment. Where is this idea that Yeshua taught the law but only to be kept up until his death? Where would be the point in that? What would be the point in learning how to keep a law better that will be obsolete in a few months and weeks? It doesn't make any sense.

What does make sense was that Yeshua was pointing out the heart of the law. It wasn't a new law in addition to "thou shalt not kill". Yeshua simply extracted the heart of "not murdering" and applied it to a different scenario.

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

He recognized that the precursor to murder was anger. Now, you can be angry and he doesn't say it is wrong to be angry. But anger without cause is basically an absence of love. He used the law on murder to point out the heart of the law in how it applies even to the condition of the mind as a precursor to action. He didn't supplant the law or destroy it. What he said was even MORE STRICT than the letter of the commandments because the commandments didn't say "don't even be angry without cause". That's MORE STRICT! But in essence... he's telling you not to murder someone IN YOUR MIND! How hard is that to do if you understand that the heart of the law is love?

Shalom
"...I don't see a conversion taking place in Bro. James. As long as a person insist on being yoked with the OT Laws, there will be no conversion..."

Sis,
One step at a time.
Line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little there a little.
I am hopeful that it will only get better from here out.
Newview,

You would rather have someone stop obeying Yah and be in a life of sin(violation of Torah)? How evil that is!
Nobody told you to stop obeying the Lord. Dont be so dramatic.
Newview,

Sure you are. Anytime you're trying to convert me into disobedient Christianity.. from true obedience to Yah, then that is evil. You must know that the only way to actually obey Yah is through the Torah. Obeying Yeshua is not only be preaching the gospel, rather, it is also being obedient to the Torah.

Why is it that Christians preach about being conformed in the image of Yeshua, and they do not keep the Torah of the father? It is impossible to be like Yeshua, and at the same time, not obeying the Torah. If we are to walk as Yeshua walked(1 Johhn 2), then we must keep the Sabbath as He did, and the rest of Torah as He did.

Let's stop making excuses on how hard it is to keep Torah, and actually believe the words of Yah when He said that the Torah is NOT hard to keep, neither is it a burden. It makes no sense to bring a person out of bondage, then bring them back into more bondage after promising them freedom. Israel was now free to obey Yah joyfully through Torah, and we can do it too!
