When it comes to eternal security, it seems that everyone has an opinion. However the question of "can I lose my salvation" is an invalid question. Yopu see, it's not a matter of can one lose his or her salvation, but the correct question is can our soveriegn God lose His purchased posession, namely us. Consider that upon surrendering our lives to Jesus, we were purchased by the Father with His blood, the most powerful currency in the created universe, at that time we became His property. Bond slaves as it were. Clearly it is  God's will for us to be His forever. He is soveriegn.

In Matthew 13:24-30 Jesus taught in a parable that explained what is sometimes confused as someone who has lost their salvation. It is the parable of the wheat and the tares. To make a long story short He explained that there are those who claim salvation but have never really surrendered to Christ. They are counterfeits. And since only God can see into men's hearts, we have no way of knowing who has been genuinly converted since all who live in fleshly bodies sometimes sin. But make no mistake about it if you have genuinly been converted your heavenly Father will never let you go. And thnat's the kind of good news t5hat liberates people to live holy lives.
