God willing, The Brother Marcus Internet Radio and Television Show will return this week with more stimulating dialogue as we continue discussing our beautiful and powerful sisters! This week we intend to discuss the sterotypes that are out here in America and the world regarding the Black woman. This list is a compilation of many discussions with black men and women over fifteen years and research of this topic on the Internet. Whether you agree or disagree with the stereotypes, they are what’s being said openly and privately about black women. Are these stereotypes real? Are they a myth? Do they apply to some black women but not you? Are they reality for a vast number of black women? Are black women helping to promote these stereotypes about themselves?  They are not listed in any particular order! (1) Black Women are always angry, mean and hateful. They are full of disappointment and frustration that they can’t let go of. Is this a Myth or is it a Reality?

(2) Black Women have given up on the Black Man – They are sick of his unenthusiastic, unmotivated, lazy, jive talking, unproductive and pimp mentality embracing self. Is this a Myth or is it a Reality?

(3) Black Women suffer from low self esteem - Is this a Myth or is it a Reality?

(4) Black Women are Gold Diggers – All they want to know at the end of the day is where them dollars at… Is this a Myth or is it a Reality?

(5) Black Women can be very trifling and petty when they can’t get their way about things - Is this a Myth or is it a Reality?

(6) Black Women can be very judgmental and negative about just about everything and everyone - Is this a Myth or is it a Reality?

(7) Black Women can be very envious and jealous hearted – Especially towards another black woman that has what they don’t have - Is this a Myth or is it a Reality?

(8) Black Women do not know how to just shut up sometimes. They always have to get the last word in - Is this a Myth or is it a Reality?

(9) Black Women do not care about their weight and how they look anymore - Is this a Myth or is it a Reality?

(10) Black Women are very Sexual Creatures who are down to do anything at anytime with anyone for a good time - Is this a Myth or is it a Reality?

I think it depends on the individual woman, but it's mostly a reality. Not only black women, but folks in general follow the main stream of life & in the black community there is a box a lot of us our comfortable in or trapped in, there isn't a lot of different qualities. Most black women are stuck in this sophisticated Diva character that's only reserved for black men, it's really a turn off.

Black Women are always angry, mean and hateful. They are full of disappointment and frustration that they can’t let go of.

Reality. This is a perception the world feels about both black men & black women.

2. Black Women have given up on the Black Man – They are sick of his unenthusiastic, unmotivated, lazy, jive talking, unproductive and pimp mentality embracing self.

Myth. Most women know the term, "spitting game." Some black women wouldn't respect or speak to a black man if he didn't spit some game or pimp talk.

3. Black Women suffer from low self esteem.

Reality. But everyone suffer from low self esteem. But why do you think the hair weave business is booming in India & China. Nothing a black man does is to impress another black man, it's all to impress black women. So why do you think every pair of clothes have to look new? Everything have to be name brand? Everything in the black community has to be about dough? Never mind we are the poorest racial group in America.

4. Black Women are Gold Diggers – All they want to know at the end of the day is where them dollars at.

Reality. Why do you think black women came up with that term " Where are all the good black men?" Because they were only seeking a financial relationship, a financial relationship that's hidden on conservative values & spiritual bonding. The perception of dating has always been a prostitution style service. Any woman can have a intellectual conversation with any man from all walks of life, being poor doesn't mean you cannot think or form a intelligent opinion. Black women aren't the only one's. Why do you think you see a large number of white men with Asian & Indian women? Reality. Let's face it, if a man spent $40.00 on a date, a date where that brother & sister had to use public transportation, lets say the conversation was good & he made her laugh. Now, let's say the competition, because women always have men competing for their time, even if the men don't know it, but let's say the competition picked her up in a nice car & spent $70.00 to $80.00 on the date. And the following week both asked her out on a date for Friday, who would she go out with???

5. Black Women can be very trifling and petty when they can’t get their way about things. Not only women but men also & this also applies to most racial groups. Reality.

6. Black Women can be very judgmental and negative about just about everything and everyone. Reality.

7. Black Women can be very envious and jealous hearted – Especially towards another black woman that has what they don’t have. Anyone can be jealous but I do find black women competing more with black men which is sad. Reality.

8. Black Women do not know how to just shut up sometimes. They always have to get the last word in.

This is a reality only to black men. Other ethnic men see a different side to black women & that's sad.

9. Black Women do not care about their weight and how they look anymore. - Myth.

11. While black women try & convince the world caucasian women are the easiest, AIDS is now the leading cause of death for African American women ages 25-34. African American women are over 21 times as likely to die from HIV/AIDS as non-Hispanic white women. Myth or is it a Reality? It's funny, no one ever asked how many of these women experimented & had white lovers on the down-low.

No matter how hard organizations try & spread AIDS & HIV awareness black women will put on this front as if they have a strong relationship with Christ & God but will continue to be selective about sexual partners based on physical appearance & financial appearance. Black women will risk AIDS, HIV or STD based on physical attraction, a mans appearance, facial features, hair texture, muscles, dope money, clothes, cars, trucks, rims & jewelry & vice versa, black men will risk catching AIDS, HIV or STD based attraction, a women big buttocks, color of her skin & long hair & her facial features. Myth or is it a Reality? Again, it's funny, no one ever asked how many of these women experimented & had white lovers on the down-low. Bruhs, we will no something if Asian & Indian women that cannot afford a privet doctor have a large spread of STDS because their like a white mans treasure on college & university campuses.

13. While Blacks only make up 12 percent of the U.S. population, they account for about 70 percent of gonorrhea cases and almost half of all Chlamydia and syphilis cases are surrounding Black teenage women, a demographic that now represents the highest rates of both Chlamydia and gonorrhea of any group & recent findings from the Centers for Disease Control find that nearly half of all Black woman have herpes. Black women ages 14 to 49 have herpes simplex 2, the virus that causes the disease. Myth or is it a Reality? Again, It's funny, no one ever asked how many of these women experimented & had white lovers on the down-low. 14. 87% of black women wear a hair weave because they suffer from a inferiority complex to white women.

15. Black women that travel abroad think black men are intellectually inferior to them. Myth or is it a Reality?

16. Single black women are the leading child abusers, physical & verbally, in America & have no clue how to be intellectually stimulating to a male child without that male child having feminine qualities or him growing up thinking he was born gay or bisexual. Myth or is it a Reality?

17. Black women have a fascination & are obsessed with biracial, light skin, hue, carmel looking babies with natural curly hair & caucasian, Indo-European, Celtic, Nordic, Indo -Aryan, Indian or Asian facial features. Myth or is it a Reality?

18. Not enough black women understand Eugenics Research or the fact that black women were never seen or feared as competitors to the white men establishment & because of this they are quick to throw a black man under the bus. But a soon as black women become a competitor their numbers will be reduced on college & university campuses. Myth or is it a Reality?

19. Black women suffer from bipolar, depression, anxiety disorders, including anxiety, panic, phobic disorders & a host of other mental illnesses. Myth or is it a Reality?

20. A certain kind of black woman that had it with dating black men they love to be over affectionate with their interracial lover in front of black man that's a perfect stranger to them. The direction of their affection is obvious. Black women do it as if this was the black men that hurt them. And black women in interracial relationship walk pass black men that are perfect strangers as if it's effecting him in some form or fashion & the white guy has this corny smile on his face.

In the Bible a name is not just a label, but the representation of one’s being, his identity and personality. In Genesis 17:5 God changed Abram’s name to Abraham to give him a new identity. God also changed Jacob’s name to Israel in Genesis 32:28 to give him a new identity. Thus, when Jesus asked, “What is your name?” he is asking the man’s true identity. This man must have had a name such as “John” or “Tom.” However, his answer was, “Legion, for we are many.” This shows that his identity had been lost. The demons had taken over his being with their own evil persona. By asking, “What is your name?” Jesus was calling him back to his God-given identity and personality. This was the key to his spiritual healing and to a wonderful new life in God. When we have our identity in God and build up our personality in God we can be healthy and truly happy. Jesus came into this world to find what was lost. Jesus said in Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost.” Now, Jesus was ready to heal this man from his lost personality. 2 Cor. 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” If we are in Jesus, we are a new creation. God restored his image in us through Jesus Christ.
