Tithing. Should pastors tithe into the church they are Pastoring or where they came from?

It has been on my mind for awhile and i have finaly been able to put it inot words.
Should a pastor tithe into the church he is pastoring or should he send his tithe to the church from which he came (home church).
I have been asked by lay persons and preachers alike for my thoughts on this very subject and would like to hear from you my BPN family as to what you feel.

Shouldn't the tithes be used for whatever congregation NEEDS it most?

Can a person split their tithe and give it to whatever ministries they desire? In other words, does the entire 10% need to go to one "storehouse"?

This question is asked many times. I just look at Mal 3:10 (NASB) and it seems to give the answer....

Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this," says the LORD of hosts, "if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows.

If a person is not a member of a church... a local body of Believers... which "storehouse" should they tithe to?

And for those who don't believe tithing is no longer necessary but are strickly on the love offering system... then the same question is presented to you... can you split your offering between ministries? And what do you do if you do not belong to a "church"?

There are a few who have said in the past that they send tithes to several ministries... in other words they send a whole 10% to several ministries... but I've also notice that they don't pay their bills? hmmmm?? Marriages have been broken because of something similar to this. One spouse becomes over zealous wtih giving away a majority of the household income in the name of the Lord and the other spouse is ticked because they can't pay their bills.

There are those who will buy every preaching cd series and book that is on the market and their family can't eat decent meal because there is no money for it.... these same people will say man can not live by bread alone... you know the rest of the scripture.

Believers are an interesting bunch of folk indeed.
