I am developing a sermon with regard to the saint and the sinner going to hell because of their unbelief. You have the saint on one hand who has confessed the Lord Jesus in the pardoning of their sins, and claims to be "Born Again", but is living the old lifestyle and have no regard for human life let alone the things of God. On the other hand you have the sinner who has not confessed Jesus, but is good. In both regards the two individuals have too much unbelief, too little regard for the things of God, and ultimately it's going to be TOO LATE!!

Share your thoughts about this please. I plan to use Matthew 7:13-27 as the foundational scripture.

I have thick skin. I don't expect to be treated any differently then Jesus who was persecuted by his own. I know how to press the delete key to all unfavorable replies. Furthermore, I'm only interested in the ones who beleive what the bible says.
Sister Myles

I would love you to read one of the greatest sermons I have ever read on Hell and Heaven.

It is founded and grounded in scripture and drenched by the Spirit of God. It is edifying and sobering and I hope it will inspire you, particularly in relation for those that lay claim to being a 'saint', and yet lead an unregenerated lifestyle.

Thank you so much Caral. This will be very helpful as a develop my sermon.
You're more than welcome. The language is somewhat dated, as it is word for word exactly the same as when it was preached a 150 years ago, but it is just as relevent today as then.
Can a saint be a saint just because they say there a saint? A saint is not a person who "says" they are saved but a saint is a person who IS saved. I would say there lifestyle bears witness of what they really are, and in this regards that would be a sinner.
Amen! Rev. Culberson.

You can tell by the way they walk and talk.
Thanks
