Excellent Comment!

"... elevation was going to come through servanthood. We didn't quite understand that. How do we prepare for the next level & how do we know when its time to answer the call? How do we prepare and serve who? "

This is the easy part to identify and perhaps the more difficult to accomplish.

Use Jesus for the example of the principle of being a servant and use Stephen as a practical example. That is, look around and see who needs serving - and go serve - whatever that may entail. From mowing lawns, babysitting, going to the store to buying groceries, cloths, paying for utilities to siting up with the sick, etc., etc. That is, to Serve. Remember what Jesus said about feeding and clothing the poor, those who are sick or in prison? Then there is the "good works assigned to us from the foundation of the world".

Those who would be leaders are to be the servant of all. And, on it goes. This will test the servant's heart to see if it is the desire to be of true service - or is serving only a means to achieve a goal? Attitude - a measure of one's heart.

When does one "answer the call"? By taking it one step at a time. The opportunity will come to the called, just as the prophetic word has come. Don't try to force it - wait upon the Lord and be obedient to the task at hand.
Wow is all I can say to such Godly wisdom.Thank you & God bless you
