Men and women were born to sin, that is why we are as the scripture states are to be born again
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever
unfaithfulness is a sin that besets many but not all, media and movies paint a picture of sex being first and foremost in the minds of individuals, but the bible teaches that love of money is the root of all evil, and that love encampasses all types of weights.
unfaithfulness is just one of the many, and if one has a propensity to lean that way, he/she was born to cheat
Bro. Watson, I feel it can be breed into individuals, if they see a example before them of infidelity, they grow up with a mindset that it is okay.
Many young women see a father that abandons their mother as a direct insult of abandoment to them as well, and the ability to be faithful is not there for some, because of this fear of abandoment, untill they address the root problem in their life, and give it to God.
e.g. case in fact the Carolyn Warmus account. She would only date married men, to claim victory in her mind over abandoment. When left she killed.
This is what I meant by ones having a propensity to cheat. (Generational curse)
Bro Watson, I do agree with you that it is case by case issue, and in the normal mind it's a issue of choice good or bad; but I feel that is not abnormal to act out what one is taught.
Heavy drinkers or whatever can turn some offsprings away from alcohol or whatever, but then It would be perfectly normal that another child just sees it as a way of life.
I do watch Snapped, most of them that are incarcerated in Texas, esp. deathrow, I have met, and it's not that something JUST happened, it happened a while back, The Texas cadet murderer Diane Zamora, was adamant about killing her rival, because of what she experienced as a child, seeing her father be unfaithful to her mother.
And do believe that attorneys do use these histories in court, battered wife syndrome, does not mean being just beaten, but being mentally abuse as well, and that includes infidelity.
I agree with you that it is a choice, but one beaten down by sin for years have to break the yoke of bondage , it is not as simple as just saying NO, ones have to say YES to the Lord, and be set free
