I'm glad to be in a forum to ask this question of anyone..I've seen the title "Chief Apostle" on this site. But I have no precedence in Scripture for this. The only " Chief " reference I know of is the Chief Shepherd, that Being Christ?
1 Peter 5:4
And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
Even Peter (one of the original Apostles) referred to Paul (The One called out of due season) as "our brother Paul" and not "our Apostle Paul...
2 Peter 3:15
And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
Mind you, I am aware of reference to: Chief Captain, Chief of Bakers, Chief Butler, Chief of the House of the Fathers, etc, etc,.... but no Chief Apostle...
I'm asking because It just seems, not picking, and meaning absolutely no disrespect, self elevating. Could someone show me this reference. I'm all for learning something new in God's Word...
Bro. Paul
