After a number of years in ministry, I have seen a number of changes in the black church, such as our style of music and worship. We have gotten away from our roots, the songs grand mother sang. The old time preaching, the powerful prayers that carried us through all of our trails, and troubles any day would bring. Where has the love for the black community gone. Many of our local Churches has left the city and gone to the country side. Who is left to look out for our Seniors saints, those who paved the way for us as a black people. Let us forget where we have come from. it's in our roots that we find the will power to keep pressing on and looking for the prize of our Lord Jesus Christ and eternal life in the kingdom of God our Father.

My Brother, why would you call preachers jacklegs? the word said blessed are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, and when we put down anyone of us we speak about all of us, you think? if it is kind, loving, good, peaceful, we must focus on these things. If I have a fault against my brother, then i must go to him. Brother we are all God's children and none of us without sin. The whooping and hollering you are talking about brought our great great grand parents of 64 generations, our grand parents, our parents, and now we enjoy the blessing they gave their lives for. I love and respect preachers, when they are wrong i pray for them, We just like any other business are family, Church family, in the business of winning souls for the kingdom of God, and i am sorry you feel that way about our own. love envieth not and is not puffed up, but rejoiceth in the truth. love and peace.

Pastor you are open to share your feelings, don't pass your narrow minded thinking to conclude that i'm taking sides with anyone or defending anyone behavior. I fully rebuke your behavior as a christian leader and pastor of any Church, I totally disagree with your response about ministers, this has nothing to do with behavior, if you read my answer to your response. It is about your personal attitude regarding the ministers of God, If this is how you feel about leaders in the Church whom may not have your level of understanding and training, does not give you the right to talk down to or about them. You seem to have forgotten that we are all God's children, and I am very offended that any preacher would speak this way about any of God's leaders, weather you agree or disagree with how God chooses to use them. You are not there judge. Please Keep your negative opinions about preachers to yourself. Even a fool is considered to be wise until he opens his mouth Rev. Watson.

You have stepped our of line here, and I rebuke you as a Bishop of the Household of Faith, whom have started several Churches In the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, with ministers in training to teach, preach, and lead the lost to Jesus Christ. There is no further need for you to respond. I would appreciate that very much just keep quite about the Preachers of The Household of Faith. end of subject.

God bless you Pastor Spates.

God bless you man of God, i agree with you 100% percent. our communities are suffering as a result of these kind of decision by some of our Churches, who move out of the local community, to put up mega buildings, while the poor in those communities go without the simple things needed to live their daily lives. very good response.
