We spend countless hours on this site in dialogue/debate on our beliefs, in particular with those who insist on salvation is by obeying the Torah. For Christians, a relationship with God comes by salvation; for others, it may be your works and obedience to the OT Laws and Commandments.

So, I am asking EVERYONE to share, if you choose to do so, how the Lord God has blessed you lately? How has He changed your life or has your life been changed as a result of your relationship with God? God made a huge sacrifice for the sake of redeeming man back to Himself because He desires to restore the relationship He once had with humans in the beginning with Adam and Eve.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17

So for anyone wishing to share, how has God blessed you lately?

Having a personal relationship with God begins the moment we realize our need for Him, admit we are sinners, and in faith receive Jesus Christ as Savior. God, our heavenly Father, has always desired to be close to us, to have a relationship with us. Before Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden (Genesis chapter 3), both he and Eve knew God on an intimate, personal level. They walked with Him in the Garden and talked directly to Him. Due to the sin of man, we became separated and disconnected from God.

What many people do not know, realize, or care about, is that Jesus gave us the most amazing gift—the opportunity to spend eternity with God if we trust in Him. “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23). God became a human being in the Person of Jesus Christ to take on our sin, be killed, and then be raised to life again, proving His victory over sin and death. “Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1). If we accept this gift, we have become acceptable to God and can have a relationship with Him. Having a personal relationship with God also means we should include God in our daily lives.

With that said, I am surprised no one has bothered to share their testimony. With all of the preaching, teaching, and slamming that goes on here within the BPN Forum, I would think that many of the members here would have at least one testimony to share on how God has blessed them. Could it be that no one really has a relationship with God?
I learned in church today, and from fellowship today that I need to stop beating down all the false doctrine, and just put the word out there. If people want to read, and hear it, they will. If people don't want to hear it, they won't. I have to be ok with that. I want people to hear and get this word so bad that it causes me to loose site of who this is for. I am not my own master, and the master did not follow, but lead. So, I learned that I need to lead, and leave the blood on the peoples hands, and don't put it on my hands. So, The Lord saved my life today because I lost site of why I have the knowledge of the Lord.
cont'd . . . .

Well, I can certainly attest to my relationship with the Lord God. He speaks to me through His written Word as well as his human vessels. There was a season of growth that seemed to keep me in the wilderness longer than I could have imagined because I felt like I was never going to experience my deliverance. Relationships on the job and at home were constantly in turmoil; my financial debts seemed as though they were never going to end.

Nevertheless, I continued to press forward. I cannot say that at some point during this tough season that I did not question the length of time and the depth of my growing pains, which to me felt like sufferings. But, the lessons I learned during this season of growth was another level of trust and faith in God, patience, obedience over self sacrifice, stewardship and the need to commit more time for study of the Bible. In the midst of all this, God never ceased from comforting me and reassuring me of His love for me. When I received that breakthrough a few years back, I have been blessed to live in His peace like never before. Whatever goes on around me that appears to be darkening and stressful, His peace remains strong within me. His peace enables me to see much clearer from within and thereby make choices that are in line with His will.

I am now reaping the benefits of a new position on my job where the environment within the new department more pleasant. In spite of the economic fallout where many people have lost their jobs, homes, etc., our company remains solvent and continues to be profitable. My relationship with certain family members is positive compared to the past. My finances are no longer an issue. My health remains good with no major issues.

I have met some wonderful people that I am grateful to God for placing them in my path. God is taking me to another level of growth and understanding of Him and His ways for my life that will not only edify me but others as well as I come in contact with from time to time. I no longer see life through my natural eyesight, but instead through my spiritual eyesight. I no longer take life for granted but at the same time, I am at peace in Jesus in spite of all that is going on in this world. I am furthering my studies in the Bible as well as in the Messianic Jewish faith for the purpose of getting to know God from the Jewish perspective. I could go on and on with testimonies, but that would certainly take up more time and written pages.

I am most anxious to read how God has blessed others. Surely, if we claim to love God and if we have a relationship with Him, would the God that we all love and serve bless us in ways that would excite us to want to share as a testimony (not for vain boasting)?
great tread sista harris...
can i testafie of what the LORD has woven in my life ,saying all my life i felt this pain for the hurt of my people and this "why" just followed and hovered over me,i was rasied baptist grandmother was the church librarian, and love her some jesus(not according to knowledge) but she inplanted in me that he was real and the only help i had apon this earth, but in my power to people mode here in 1999 1 of my partners challenged everything i had been taught to believe, when he said everything in the bible meant something esoteric and christ really meant sperm/ life force/or annointing oil, it questioned everything i had ever believed about GOD, later that week i was reading in gen. where jacob was by his self and wrestled with a man, but that man was GOD,and he build an alter and named it peniel(i am sure i misspelled that) well i had recently read that your peniel gland was the gland that you think with, and it was like wow he was wrestling with the god in him, afraid of being wrong ,i got on my knee and asked GOD why??? , I was a work 2 to 3 hrs late a guy drove up (i worked in the rock querry at this time) and proceeded to call me israel, and gave me some research concerning jacob and esau / who they are and what happen all scriptural,it blew my wig back, because every question i ever had about about my people had been answered from why slavery??? to why are we a comodity to the criminal justice system??? and much more , it made me seee things thru a realistic light , and accounted "Blessed are your eyes cause they see and your ears cause they hear Gods truth" as the greatest blessing of all..... part 1.....
PRAISE ALMIGHTY GOD FOR TOUCHING AND CHANGING THE LIVES OF HIS PEOPLE!

I really do appreciate your testimony Bro. Hezekiah, Bro.Watson and Bro. Pharaoh.

My purpose (actually it was God's purpose) for posting this thread was to glorify Him . . .no jokes, no slandering of each other, just to glorify Him and respect one another with the love of our Lord.

I, too, learned a similar lesson that both you Bro. Hezekiah and Bro. Watson learned, and that is more patience and more love, regardless to what we may or not agree upon. If we will focus more on how to really love our Lord God, we will be obeying those laws and commandments that are applicable today. That is why love is the key to living in peace and harmony.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling. One Lord, one faith, one baptism. One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according the the measure of the gift of Christ. . . .For the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:4-7, 12,13
