What if I was baptized in (The Titles)Father, Son, Holy Ghost is that Incorrect?
There's Bad News If you were!! because no one in the entire Testament Church Was ever baptized that Way! Let us examine the new Testament Water baptisms and Find The right Way to be baptized! The Good News Is Your here and Hopefully Have a desire to Follow the Bible.
There has been some beliefs state salvation is accepting Jesus as your personal savior. By acknowledging he is the son of God that your saved. Then they teach and baptize in the titles Father Son and Holy Spirit.
But what does the Bible say?
Act 19:1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
Act 19:2 He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost.
You Must believe to come to salvation. But believing is not salvation.
Act 19:3 And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism.
Why did he ask them How they were baptized? Does it matter how your baptized?
YES
Act 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
Act 19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
So they first were taught.
Secondly they believed
Then was baptized
Next you will see they was filled with the Holy Ghost and the evident of the Holy Ghost came By that God given tongue that God gives to each he fills with his spirit.
Now we see prior to this they had repented but didn’t know the truth about really being saved. But once they seen the truth they willingly received God.
Act 2:37
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
Act 2:38
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Mat 16:18
And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Mat 16:19
And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
Now What did peter who God said upon who he was going to build his church on and who was given the keys too say?
Repent, Be baptized and How did he say to be baptized? In the titles Father Son and Holy Spirit?
NO.
He said IN THE NAME OF. NAME NOT NAMES OR TITLES. SINGULAR ONE NAME.
And he gave us what that one name to our one God is. JESUS.
Find in the word where there was ever anyone baptized in the titles father son, holy spirit.
It is not in there. You will never find in Gods word where any one was baptized the 3 titles. NAME OF Means one name singular.
There is one verse in the book of Matthew 28:19 and when you read this verse understand that anytime Jesus tried to make the people understand who he really was they wanted to stone him. His mission wasn’t to prove he was God just yet. His mission was to bring us to him by coming in a fleshly form. Every time they would question who he was he would talk to them in riddles or in a way they wasn’t sure just what he was saying for sure. Even still they wanted to stone him. He slipped away through the crowd many times. So when he spoke of Matt 28:19 he was using wisdom talking of a shadow of what was to come. If he has said go out teaching men to baptize in my name they would have stoned him. Most of the things he spoke did not even come to them or fully understand until he died on the cross then more when he rose again like he said he would do. Then on the day of Pentecost wow. What he said about coming back and living in me was true. For the first time in their lives they saw Christ for who he really was. Ok here is that verse Christ spoke while still walking in a flesh form with them.
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
He didn’t give the name of yet they would soon find what that name was to be.
He does give us a Clue that there is one Name for remission of sins by preaching the gospel.
Luke 24:46-47 (King James Version)
46And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:
47And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.
Act 2:41
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
Now those three thousand didn’t just say that they believe that God sent Jesus and that they accept him only. They Repented and were baptized in JESUS NAME and was filled with his spirit (with the evidence by speaking in tongues)
Act 2:42
And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Somewhere along the way a large percentage of the church world has left the apostles doctrine. Are we to still follow the doctrine that God set up through the apostles?
Act 19:6 And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
Eph 4:4
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5
One Lord, one faith, one Baptism,
Eph 4:6
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Living a good life will not save you. the word tells us that if you haven’t been born of the water and the spirit which is to repent and receive the Holy Ghost and Baptism that you will not make it to heaven.
Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Joh 3:8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Oh come on I was baptized and believe besides I don’t have to give up as much going to the church I am at now. Whats the big deal? They love God too. What God isn’t gonna let them in just because they didn’t speak in all that tongue stuff or get baptized in Jesus name.
Joh 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
Joh 10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
Joh 10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
Joh 10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
Joh 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Joh 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
Joh 10:28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

See what did I tell you earlier? He was trying to let them see hey guys I came from heaven robed in this skin because I love you. But they couldn’t see that. Do you really think they would have accepted him saying Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Like was said in acts 2:38?
Joh 10:32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
Joh 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
Joh 10:34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
Joh 10:35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
Joh 10:36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?
Joh 10:37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.
Joh 10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

Brother I certainly don't believe that others aren't saved who differ. I came from COGIC and received the holy ghost while their. I experienced the power of God in my Life before getting re-baptized. Let me tell you what many are doing now as to make their calling an election sure. (COVERING THEIR BUTTS)
Marvin Winans Church, Life Gate Christian fellowship and many, many others have changed the way they baptize from the trinity baptism. They are baptizing in the name of the father, son and the holyghost, which is the Lord Jesus Christ. They are defining what these titles mean right in the baptism.
I believe that once the Lord opens the understanding of his people, they will do their first works over. Get re-baptized in Jesus name.
Now I understand what you are saying about some oneness people, they are very bold and making statements that anger others. I am not of any denomination anymore but a disciple of JESUS CHRIST. I don't want to be labeled according to man's doctrine but of the Lords.

The Lord has rejected his altar and abandoned his sanctuary. He has handed over to the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have raised a shout in the house of the LORD as on the day of an appointed feast.
here God tells us plainly that he has abandoned the churches and handed them over to satan to rule there as a test..he in revelation 18:4 called his people out of the churches for this very reason..the cat church is still in service which proves they are not obeying the gospel as with any other church that carries on as usual...let those who have spiritual ears hear what the spirit is saying..again read the scripture given...don't take my word for it friend..

this verse is saying that God the holy spirit has removed himself from the midst of the congragations as stated i the verses obove...and revelation 18;4 says that Godds people should come out because Satan has been placed there to rule...all these verses tie together perfectly..
the one who restrains sin is God the holy spirit..he has been romoved from the congragations and now we can see that the bible is no longer preaching the gospel of Christ..but the gospel of the world money and possessions and wealth and worldly things have replaced the gospel of Christ..
1 Timothy 4:1
The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

I haven't seen anyone come on and say of themselves that no one is saved but oneness folk. What I have observed are scripture that say FOR THE REMISSION OF SIN.
Can we ignore the scripture.
When I met my husband, I was COGIC and trinity baptized (father, son and holyghost) he was sharing all these scripture about baptizing in Jesus name. I nearly chopped his head of with one Scripture and refused to listen any further. He left it alone and let God deal with me. I began to research and study while praying to God. I only had one scripture and he had dozens, but I was willing to discount all of his scripture to hold on to my belief. Well one day, God opened my understanding about the Godhead and this helped me to understand the baptism and why the apostles did something different that what we thought Jesus Meant.
Colossians 2:9
For in him (JESUS) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead BODILY.

The word "godhead" was added to the text to support the trinity. The Greek behind it, Theotas, says different. The Greek shows us that the fulness of "deity, the divine, divine presence", dwells in bodily form. This matches the old testament thought of how God manifest himself. This has nothing to do with a pagan trinity.

The three will always be a subject for much consideration as well as debate.
Average Joe meets Believer Bob who shares the gospel message and tells him he must be baptized in the name of the FAther, Son and Holy Spirit according the scriptures. Joe does this and is excited about his new faith. Joe experiences God on a daily basis with signs and wonders and a growing faith.
Years later Joe meets Believer Betty who tells Joe he really isn't saved because he was baptized wrong. Not wanting to be out of line Joe gets rebaptized in the Jesus' name. Joe expereinces God on a daily basis with signs and wonders and a growing faith.
Years later Joe meets Believer bin Yah who tells him that he was baptized in a title not the name so he really isn't saved. Joe is baptized again because he doesn't want to be out of the will of Yah. Joe experiences Yah on a daily basis with signs and wonders and growing faith.
Meanwhile, his brother whom Joe loves dearly, dies never knowing salvation because he sees the topsy turvy lifestyle of his brother Joe and doesn't know what to believe about God.

That was a bad story of confusion! How sad it was that he didn't have a FIRM Foundation of the Word of God! Sounds also like to me He had a luke warm prayer Life. If he only knew how much the Lord Loved Him and wanted him to Come into the Truth. Instead he took his eyes off of JESUS and well.....

Della which person are you referring to? Are you referring to Averge Joe or his brother who died in his sin while watching his brother's lifestyle of Christian confusion?

I was referring to his brother and Joe. They both didn't have a loving relationship with JESUS in Prayer. They BOTH TRUSTED IN MAN. How Sad.

About the death bed salvation, I'll let you answer that question base on these scriptures what do you think:
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, and he that believeth not shall be damned. Mark 16:16
Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.... Acts 2:38
be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord...Acts 22:16
The like figure where unto even baptism doth also now save us....1 Peter 3:21
Death bed or not, don't we need our sins remitted or washed away before we can enter into heaven?
And wouldn't The Lord be going against his word if he let's someone into heaven that wasn't baptized?
