Brother I have been trying to get some of the Brothers to answer me if we can get 3 days and 3 nights from Good Friday evening to Easter Sunday morning, and I get no answer. I just want to know because this is claimed to be a Christian Doctrine that Jesus died on Good Friday, and rose Easter Sunday morning. So, this scripture is fulfilled when Peter says "which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction."
I submitted a couple of quick notes to a thread started by Mark, Sabbath or Sunday, that addressed the Friday-Sunday Passover issue.

I doubt you get an answer to this because they are still engaged in what God warns us about.........................................

They are making the mercahnts rich! "and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies."

They are "committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication."

They are .......................................X-MAS SHOPPING!!!!

Yes, and that is unfortunate. I would hope some would see that it is not an evil thing to do what thus saith the Lord.
After church (later today), I'll be most happy to address each of these four questions, unless someone else grabs them first! LOLOL
Here is my concern. The Sunday Church teaches that Jesus died Good Friday Evening, and rose Easter Sunday Morning. I know you have heard that since you were a kid, and so have I. Here is how long the Bible says Jesus we be in the grave.

Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

Can you get 3 days and 3 nights from Good Friday Evening to Easter Sunday Morning?
Again - as noted above -

You should find my answer there.
It's a yes or no question.

Go the Bro. Bowman's link . . .this is not a yes or no question because the interpretation is based on which calendar we use to explain this time frame. That's why this is an issue that all teachings cannot stand in unity, especially since God did not specifically give us the day and time that would clarify the calendar used to calculate this event.
So, why is it taught that Jesus died Good Friday evening and rose Easter Sunday Morning if you need to know the different calendars and everything?
Not all denominational or all non-denominational teach the same when it comes to Easter. However, all will agree that Jesus died, was buried and rose on the 3rd day.
What day was the 3rd day?
