Black Preaching Network

Scripture tells us come let us reason together.
Why is it that many on here can not come and reason with a open mind?
How is that many of you know everything and yet know nothing.
Why is it that many of us on here do not want to learn more about the scriptures than what we have been taught by those who do not have true relationship with the Creator?

I know that this is not going to have many responses but I just thought that I would ask.
As we sit here and rehash the same junk over and over again and not come to a clear understanding as to what Scripture says not according to our limited understanding but according to what YHWH intended. Just thought that I would ask.

When things do not go the way we want them then we run or we delete the post. Wow It is really time to grow up and yall call yourselfs preachers. Shame on you.

Question is getting the name right or Obedience to his Torah?

After 2,000 years we still cannot agree on many of the simple things of the Faith - and rather than provoking one another into good works and learning how to over come the world, we provoke one another over things we do not truly know or understand. Rather, we engage in spiritual one-upmanship and the futile discussions over names and gemology creating contervecy and contention - this my brothers should not be!

Where is the growing in unity of truth, Spirit and the Faith?

One approach that has worked for me - and noted early on in this thread - is simply to state what I believe and why, and where appropriate, I will add a scripture or two, not a "proof" of my position, but as an indication of the line of thinking I have taken. The exchange of ideas is critical to growth. The ability and willingness to engage in such exchanges are necessary for maturity. However, what is frequently forgotten are three rules that will always result in division of the body of Christ when they are forgotten.

First, in order to be an effective teacher, one must become, and remain the best possible student they are capable of becoming. We need to separate those things we think we know from those things that are so.

Second, The western church has been fed so many things that are "not so", that we are all too willing to exchange one lie for another one, or reject the truth then it does not fit into our personal world view.

Third, we have a tendency to base our salvation on our experience or our knowledge, rather than a balance between the two. That is, we feel comfortable in our salvation based on how we feel and what we know, but we egnore the single most important element in our spiritual walk - our personal relationship with the son of God.

When Jesus walked this earth, most Jews had a good working knowledge of the Tanakh (Old Testament) by attending the required Shabbat Shul (Synagogue, house of study), but, unless you had also attended an Yeshiva (Hebrew University), one was still considered "unlearned" in spiritual matters. Never the less, throughout the New Covenant writings, we see that those who engaged in deep doctrinal debates were those who thought they knew something of God and His ways. But, as we work our way through the scriptures, what becomes clear is that the knowledge we are to seek after is "what pleases God" and to commit ourselves to living that kind of life. We are to seek godly wisdom, that is, to learn to discern between our flesh and the Spirit - and choosing the Spirit.

Let us be today, what we frequently mislabel as "the laity", that which was the norm 2,000 years ago, the general body of Christ where everyone ministered one to another in words of encouragement, teaching, wisdom, knowledge, music, etc. Let's return to those old paths where the body of Christ was that - a fully functional, living body of Jesus Christ based on a living, intimate relationship with all of the different parts of that same body, and even with its head.

While knowledge and wisdom are very important, without that abiding personal relationship with HaMaschiah, all of the knowledge, wisdom, and being right in one's own doctrine will not open the gates of heaven.

Shalom Aliechem

A final note:

Remember that God "is". Jesus is God's Messiah (the anointed one) because none of the rest of us measures up. Everything else is commentary - now go study.

Shalom you have made some very Tov points and som e I agree and a few I do not.
Question? If someones hair is on fire do you.
a. Say that is a nice shade of orange that you are wearing?
b. Say I think that just might work for you.
or
c. Your hair is on fire you need some water to put that our with.

Now as we can see in the example above there is really only one choice. Same with Torah. We can not pick what we want and leave the rest. Either we are going to obey or die. Real simple. Either you are esotric or exotric. There is no in between.

Many of the things that we have been taught about religion is dead wrong. We can not go on flesh or on the opinion of man but the very word of YHWH which proceeded out of his mouth.

YHWH Commanded us to do some things and we are not doing them. It is my job as a Nabi to spread the truth of YHWHs word according to what he said and not a cording to mans traditions.

This is why we as the so called body of believers are in trouble. Do we encourage one another in love to tov works? Yes. Is love sometimes tuff? YesYew

The scriptures tells believers of Jesus to reason together. Belivers of Jesus have the Spirit of Truth, which means they desire to know the truth in the context of the scriptures. You have outright proclaimed that Jesus is the biggest lie ever told. The bible tells us not to reason with non-believers, those that do not believe in Jesus Christ as saviour, Lord and God. So no one is running they are just being obedient to the Word, and the Spirit of truth.

Pr 17:10
A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool. pass away.

Ro 8:7
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Ro 16:17
Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

2Ti 2:23
But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

Tit 3:9
But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

Is being Obedient to what scripture tells us to do foolishness?
I can safely said that I have been in church longer than you been alive. I have been preaching over 18years. Listen I have been down the church road and found out that I had been lied too just as you have been lied too.
Hosea 4:6 tells us that my people perish for a lack of knowledge and because you reject knowledge I also reject you.

Most people who go to church are guilty of allowing pimps who have been trained to keep the people in bondage do their studying for them.
after I started pastoring this third time I stopped saying what my pastor said and started studying for myself. Since I am the Pastor I have to pray and lay before his feet to get a word for his people. I have found things that my pastor never taught us and guess what? I am mad that he did not teach us the truth.

You first must go to the beginning of the book. You can not start at the middle. The foundation is the thing that holds everything together. No solid foundation your house will sink. YHWH which is the true name of the creator said that I am the same .
When all the time. He changeth not. YHWH made a promise a covenant with the Yisraelites. He chose them and he will save them.

Any one who will be saved must be grafted into Yisrael. There is no other way it you say there is then you lie. So let YHWH be true and every man a liar.

YHWH sent Yahshua the true name of the Messiah not this pagan greek latin lie ha/ze/us. Who did he send Yahshua to? The Hebrews. The Yahadim. Not the greek or the romans. To those in whom he chose and to those in whom will worship him in Ruach and Emet. No one else. For he wishes that none should perish but all come to repentance. Yet this statement does not tell us that everyone will be Saved.

Only those in whom are willing to be obedient unto his Torah and follow his Ruach.<./b>

Oh Let me help you out here. This thread was started because someone else started a thread and he could not defend his position so what did he do? He erased the whole thing.

See it is not about just running but it is about sitting and looking at scripture from the eyes of YHWH, not mans eyes or what we have been taught in error.

Now what ever I state I can give you scripture in its proper context and point you to the historical facts, not just name calling and taking things out of context.
