why so so many men of God divorce?

I wonder why so many great men and women of God
are still involve in this factor called divorcement... yet the preach against it...
why?.....

WOW...I didn't think when I came across this network that my life would be so enriched. I appreciate the openess that exist here and the willingness of the Saints to ask what some would say are the difficult questions.

To answer your question...

We marrying for the wrong reasons...Trying to live holy but not marrying who God wants us to marry but really marrying the person who looks right with us rather than is ordained to be with us.
We not willing to work through the hard times and understand that HELPMEET is just that there to HELP YOU MEET JESUS...Many marry and end up in ministry and put ministry above family but God calls you to take care of your home first then love that spouse. HE GOT SINGLE PEOPLE TO DO HIS BIDDING AND THEY GOT TIME AND AVAILABILITY TO WORK OVERTIME FOR GOD.
Spouses don't know but when God called you...HE CALLED THEM TO MINISTRY TOO !!!
EVERYTHING AIN'T WHAT IT LOOK OR APPEARS TO BE...Preachers are batterers too. YUP...a whole bunch of first ladies get jacked by MEN WHO CALL THEMSELVES GODLY...I know we don't talk about that but it's true and When folks get titles then don't cease to be ABUSERS. Matter of fact they hide behind those titles and the Sisters in Ministry do too.
Folks flesh ain't saved and There is alot of adultery going on and those leaders are allowed to engage in earthy behavior and sit in heavenly places at the same time.
If a Pastor, Apostle, Bishop, Evangelist, or Teacher get divorced should they stay in position? They used to sit you down to reflect.

It's OK to be a Bishop and be Divorced today but "A TWICE MARRIED MAN CAN'T BE A BISHOP"...We Ordain a little bit of everything today. It's OK for our saints to divorce because we get divorced. It's OK for alot of things to go on today because we got a past and history.

WE ARE ANOINTED AND APPOINTED BUT NOT EXEMPT...I'm a divorcee and I'm ashamed of myself because I stood befre God and made a promise/covenant that I didn't keep. I didn't sign divorce papers because I want to stand before God and say that I tried to keep my promise. I got married young. I didn't have a good example of how to stay married because my parents didn't. That is not an excuse it's a matter of fact. I am a champion of marriage. I will not remarry because I have a living wife. I am convicted in my spirit on the fact that "IT AIN'T COOL TO BE MARRIED FIVE TIMES IN ONE LIFETIME"...I know God didn't mean for man to be alone but it looks like to me that we need to TEACH and INSTRUCT on MARRIAGE before we stand up and marry these folks too. They should have to make the case to us to divorce too. Some of this foolishness around divorce is a mess and GOD IS NOT PLEASED.

If you can't commit to a Man or Woman...WHAT DOES THAT SAY ABOUT YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD?
