WOMEN WEARING PANTS IN CHURCH....

[HOPE - Psalm 43:5]

Over the years, I have heard many men and women in the holiness denominations say that women shouldn't wear pants in the church.

Were is the scripture to support the ideology that women shouldn't wear pants? If it is in scripture then I would have to ask why are men wearing pants? Did men wear pants in biblical times or did their wear something that covered their loins and then long robe like attire? I mean isn't that what you depict in your biblical plays? So why aren't the men being asked to wear similar apparel in the church to maintain a outward appearance of holiness? Why aren't they asked to not cut their hair (both facial and head)

What are the clothing designations for men in the holiness denominations.

After all, without holiness NO man/woman shall see God.....

OMG I know ima get some emails about what I am about to post. But I am SO SICK OF CHURCH FOLK who are caught up in "TRADITION AND RELIGION" IT sickens me as a Man of God, that we are so worried about what a person has on instead of Saving the Lost. Let me tell you something. God Dont care waht you ware to church as long as it is decent! Naked you came into this world and Naked shall You leave! so why in the Sam Johnson are we so caught up about if a Sister wares pants. You got men in the pulpit preaching the Gospel but cross dressing behind closed doors, are we talking about that? No I dont think we are! You Got lesbians and homosexuals in the choir stand and on the usher board are we talkin about that? I don't think So! but yet we want to get so caught up on what one wares. Shame on you. regardless of what your denominational affiliation is. It Is about Saving Souls. There aint gonna be any DKNY, or Phat Pharm or Baby Phat, or Steve Harvey, Zoop, or any of that mess in Heaven!

I urge those of you and your leaders who support this opinion, to do some serious soul searching, because your priorities are all WRONG and your focus is Off! I see why God tells us to go back and examine ourselves! Its time to get back to the 2 commandments that Jesus gave us as well as Go and fulfill the Great Commission he gave us! It does not make any sense that church folk are bothered by such foolishness. Instead of doing what God called them to do. and i want to let some of you Seasoned Saints. Yall bout to be in for a wake up call! The Generation that is coming into the Church now, aint with All the long dresses and suits. The coming with Jeans and White T's on and you need to accept them and Don't try to be changing them b/c you going to run them away and their blood will be on your hands b/e you were being petty and nieve and caught up with Tradition and Religion. I agree with Bishop Marcus Lewis.Why are we so concern about what people are wearing,especially if it is in good taste.Honestly some women need to wear pants cause some of us dress like we are going to a club.On the other hand,we are not under law anymore.God rewrote the law,because he realize that we could not follow or live under the law.We are now under GRACE. This seems to be a bigger issue in "Black Churches" why is that?

I see other races of people entering the House of worship with regular everyday clothes on....and having an awesome worship experience.
It is called "Sunday morning Worship right?
A time we come together to worship God.
Dresses, pants.....I wonder what Mose had own when he worshiped God & when got showed him the burning bush! I wonder what the woman got in the act of adultery had own, when Jesus forgave her. Better yet can some tell me when dresses and pants were invited?
We waste time with pity debates, when their are people like Mary Magelene that need to be save and set free. Lord forgive us.

dear Sister When we mention the term church it is so loosely opinionated Like all churches are the same..They are not unfortunately but they should be modeled out of the bible so when we look for the answers First our relationship and love for God and to know him as an obedient child in HIS WORD must be in prayer. Praise God you desire TO KNOW The Master King Jesus at a greater LEVEL than Most.( The dress.) If you ask yourself and pray if I wear this Garment Will that Please God? Or will that please Men? (The Lust of the Eye and of the flesh,the pride of life all says HEY Look at ME I am Somebody! Draws Attention to Self! Or will the garment you Choose to wear WILL IT Draw people to the Spirit of God? God wants His People to Be separate for Him? How Can someone at a grocery store look at you and say : She's Different! She's covered and wearing a skirt .She LOOKS LIKE A CHRISTIAN! I WILL ASK HER TO PRAY FOR ME!Perhaps the persons family member is dying and needs encouragement(NEEDS GOD)? But on the other hand if this person sees you and you are wearing tight jeans and your top is low cut with cleavage hanging all out HOW IN THE WORLD ARE THEY TO TELL YOU APART FROM THE CROWD IN THIS WORLD? You Were Looking for a scripture not to wear pants right? Well I have one. BUT Remember we must LOVE SCRIPTURES ENOUGH TO WALK IN THEM WITH OUR GOD! THIS IS A LOVE RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS! This is not about Religion this is about a relationship with God. I AM NOT TELLING YOU YOU CAN AND CAN"T WEAR PANTS It's your choice .IT"S NOT SOME HARD TASK SET OF RULES! For the Woman's Bathroom there is a picture of a woman hanging on the door. How do you know the difference between a Man and a Woman's bathroom? The Skirt separates the woman From a Man.
Another Thing if you study history before woman's Libb when pants were promoted on a women (Woman's Rights)
The Women Looked Wholesome and wore long skirts and shirts that were Modest. Today The devil and TODAY'S FASHIONS are the farthest thing from what God Has Called us to be!! Skirts were originally intended to be worn by women. Pants for men. But The world and it's fashions Don't Care They are in it for the flesh! (PROFIT,SEX,AND PRIDE)
But Anyway this is just food for thought. I too was questioning pants and the Lord and His Grace Revealed to me to leave the world behind and walk closer to Him. So I do encourage you to pray about this. Ok, So here it is. After this It's between You and The Lord.

I've got this great way to apply Romans 14:14-21. I replace "meat and drink" with whatever is being debated in the body of Christ today, and come away with something like the following:
