WOMEN WEARING PANTS IN CHURCH....

[HOPE - Psalm 43:5]

Over the years, I have heard many men and women in the holiness denominations say that women shouldn't wear pants in the church.

Were is the scripture to support the ideology that women shouldn't wear pants? If it is in scripture then I would have to ask why are men wearing pants? Did men wear pants in biblical times or did their wear something that covered their loins and then long robe like attire? I mean isn't that what you depict in your biblical plays? So why aren't the men being asked to wear similar apparel in the church to maintain a outward appearance of holiness? Why aren't they asked to not cut their hair (both facial and head)

What are the clothing designations for men in the holiness denominations.

After all, without holiness NO man/woman shall see God.....

     1 Corinthians 2:1, "And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God."  Excellency of speech:  speak down (negative) of other people as if you were so much better (excellent) than them or Wisdom:  people who think they have you figured out (wisdom) and know all about what you are doing wrong and what you need to do to get right.

     1 Corinthians 2:2, "For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified."  Paul is not concerned with talking about women wearing pants in the church.  All Paul needs to know is if you have accepted Christ as Lord, asked Christ to forgive you of your sins and that you are now saved by grace because Christ is the atoning sacrifice. (crucified).

     1 Corinthians 2:8, "Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  Those people who think they have you figured out if they only knew.  They never knew that God had a plan for your life or they would have never put their mouth on you (crucified) trying to defame, slander and put you down.  God has chosen your life for his glory from before the foundations of the world.

     1 Corinthians 2:9, "But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him."  "Eye has not seen" (what you think you know) is referring to man's wisdom, "nor ear heard" (you don't know what you are talking about) is referring to excellency of speech.   God is going to do some things in your life that people are not going to understand  all so that you can have a testimony of the glory of God.

This is for the ladies. Let's say you are working on a construction job around a group of unsaved men and part of your job you have to climb a ladder would you wear a dress or a pair of jeans or you  have to work in a hole repairing pipes or wires.  What about if you had to go to a place where you had to climb up,down, over, and around mountains, boulders and and other assorted rocks and trees would you still be wearing a dress or skirt?

Their should be a direct line of demarcation between the world and the church so we can fully engage the enemy in spiritual battle.We must ask the lord for the spirtual implication behind these things so we wont be hitting and missing.The church as a whole has been double minded because we havent fully seperated from the world.The enemy is subtle just like an adulterous woman or man.At first you dont know the plan until to late because it appeases your flesh.GOD gave us his word to live by and the things we dont understand ask for the understanding but dont fight against the word of GOD yield to it.The lord watches over his word to perform it.It is to late to be compromising.The bible says a double minded person is unstable in all his ways.Lets get the cobwebs out of our brain and spiritually battle the enemy.We cant if we cant get past carnal things.The word says they that worship GOD must worship in spirit and truth.Be obedient to his word and askhi for understanding and he will give it but dont fight against the word.

Greetings to you with the peace,for our GOD has giving us peace to share with one another in unity @ love.I agree with the traditional and non traditional setting.The bible says come as you are..so that means if you feel comfortable in wearing pants women then wear pants,cause you wearing pants isn't going to send you to hell nor to heaven.But,your salvation will.I think cause of the way we was taught as a child is effecting our church growth.thats why folks don't want to come to church cause of what people think and say.Especially our youth,i know growing up in the traditional setting church,they use to look and talk about people on how they came to church and what they had on.That was wrong,we need to get out of that.To end my comment we christian need to stop worrying about what people are wearing and worry about trying to get them to jesus before its to late.

The bible says that women should not wear men's clothing vice versa.

The questions is what is women's clothing and wha tis men's clothing.

 

A pair of women pant is not a pair of male  pant. I would hope so.

Regarding the Issue of Women wearing pants in the church...Its a tradition of Men that Women not wear Pants in the Church/

 

Jesus ask the Pharisee's in Mt/ Chp.7 "why they made the word of God of non effect by holding too the traditions of the Elders"?

 

Referencing the Washing of hands before eating.....Its what comes out of the Heart which defiles a man..not what goes into him.

 

The Old testament Scripture " A Woman shold not wear that which pertaineth to a "Man" was referring to the priest garments...not Traditiona pants worn by Men in general.....

Praise the Lord Elder Denny......The scriptures is talking about the Priest garments worn by the Levites designated by God too serve in the dutties of the temple and minister too the people of God....I dont recall any female Priest....So that which pertaineth too a Man..would be the Priest Garments worn during service in the Temple...Not Pants worn by Men

OBESITY IS KILLING THE SAINTS OF GOD BECAUSE THEY TURN TO EATING AS A OK SIN (GLUTTONY) Then they suffer from HTN DIABETES ETC., WHY IS IT AFTER SOMEONE GETS SAVED IS ALL THAT THEY DO IS EAT AND GOSSIP. WHO CARES ABOUT CLOTHES WHAT ABOUT THE INTENT OF THE SOUL?WHAT ABOUT LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF AND BEING A MENTOR THE FATHERLESS CHILDREN? WHAT person who has eaten himself to death will see GOD???????
