WOMEN WEARING PANTS IN CHURCH....

[HOPE - Psalm 43:5]

Over the years, I have heard many men and women in the holiness denominations say that women shouldn't wear pants in the church.

Were is the scripture to support the ideology that women shouldn't wear pants? If it is in scripture then I would have to ask why are men wearing pants? Did men wear pants in biblical times or did their wear something that covered their loins and then long robe like attire? I mean isn't that what you depict in your biblical plays? So why aren't the men being asked to wear similar apparel in the church to maintain a outward appearance of holiness? Why aren't they asked to not cut their hair (both facial and head)

What are the clothing designations for men in the holiness denominations.

After all, without holiness NO man/woman shall see God.....

If Women cannot wear pants then why was okay for Men to wear skirts in the Old Testament.?  

I refuse to believe that the Bible speaks of women not wearing pants as an attire.  But it speaks of

Women in submission and respect to the Head.  Step up higher to grace and come out of the LAW.

Let me add that the issue today is not the wearing of pants but HOW YOU WEAR YOUR CLOTHING.

How many times do you see quote Christian Women with a blouse too low and too tight?  

A shirt that is too short and too tight?  So tight you can see the lumps bumps and panty lines.

Pants also should be well fitted loose off of the behind.  This has been a problem for Black women

especially.  You know we are built with heavy behinds and thighs, why would you pour yourself

into

tight pants.?  Pants should flow off the wide part of your hip so there is no lines or indication of your large behind.

Just keeping it plain ladies and realistic.  Lets take a look at the garbs of cosmetic placed on the face,

or the glorious hats and jewels ?  too much.  I say everyone falls short and pants are not the issue.  

To help yourselves ask yourself, would you look Holy, separated, not influenced by the fashion of this

world  if Jesus showed up unannounced?  

Let me also say there is no point in your wearing the pants if you are not FREE from the opinions of people. You cannot allow someone else conviction to determine your life.

Hi just would like to comment about women wearing pants in the church, the scripture that some of the churches are using is in the old testament where it says a woman is not suppose to wear anything pertaining to a man but then it goes on to say and a man is not to wear anything pertaining to a woman now this scripture is talking about homosexual but people will take the scriptures and give there own interpretation and revelation seek God for the right revelation /interpretation.

Its not the pants, the heart.  We are not under law but under grace.  Women do not cover their heads everywhere they go either.  And from what I see, the women of the church focus on hair, makeup, jewels and material things,  You have more Christians in need of deliverance with skirts on then you do with those who wear pants.  What we need to be speaking on the the flesh that is exposed with today.s fashion.  Frankly, they need to put some pants on.  

I believe the focus is also on the minor things, while your next door neighbor is in need and your children are being murdered, pants should not even be an issue.  Even better. let us discuss the men who prefer to wear a skirt rather then pants.  That is a real issue.
