YOU WERE CREATED TO PROSPER!! (the real purpose for kingdom prosperity.)

Now before I get started let's not think that this is a discussion on how to get a jag, rolls royce, mercedes, or a mansion!! If you have those things, wonderful. You were created to prosper. Yes that's right. Now for so long we have been led to believe that prosperity was all about us, or me and mine. Prosperity is so that God may establish His kingdom. Why should the church struggle to get the people of God to give? My goodness. When a ministry shuts down because it can't afford to operate that is a terrible shame on us as Christians. GOD WANTS TO BLESS AND PROSPER US SO THE WE CAN BLESS OTHERS. Imagine the church standing in line with the rest of the world asking for some bailout money from the government. There is nothing wrong with having a nice car, home and looking like you belong to the kingdom of God, but can you continue to walk past those in need and not give. What about the food that you have in your fridge or cabinet.. Make some sandwiches and go feed the homeless. Buy some bottled water and hand it out on a hot summer day. (Can somebody say amen.) Kingdom prosperity is not about getting a collection of Rolex watches.. It is about blessing the kingdom of God and blessing others. In 2006 I received a large some of money, and immediately God started impressing upon who I should bless and where to put some that money. I felt a strong leading of the Holy Spirit to help someone who was struggling. Not knowing what exactly they needed to have done, I allow God to lead me and I went and paid their water bill. Much to my surprise it was way behind. So I paid it up current. I am not tooting my own horn, but sharing with you that God want us to begin using the resources (money) that He gives us to bless others and advance His kingdom. "I would above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health even as thy soul prospers." If you would just bless someone you might feel better. God has no problem with us having nice things, but do the nice things have us?
