The word reformation- What does it mean to you? What are your thoughts concerning reformation and the Church. How could we apply those thoughts into productive meaningful change? Is it to late to fix, what years of apathy of created and years of remaining silent; when we should have been marching. Would the church leaders within our communities all admit today that change truly needs to occur in each of our local bodies? There must be a place where we all draw the line, and say that’s enough. There can be no more spiritual compromise in the Church. We will stand firm and yield no more.

The Christian Church is based upon Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Born of the Virgin Mary, we were sent a Savior that would lead God’s people out of darkness and into the light (true knowledge). Jesus is the Son of God that laid his life down for the love of his people and for the remission of sins of all those that would believe and repent. The Lamb of God allowed his blood to be shed to cleanse us of our sin. He came to set a people free of bondage .He rose on the third day and promised to return one day for the gathering of his flock. The veil has been torn down, and the throne room of God is open to all that love him. He is coming for the pure and spotless bride.

The question that lies before us is “Are we ready for his return”? Although we may not be able to change the world, we should be able to make sincere change within our own faith. When each of us knows within ourselves that the spirit of God is grieved and cries for restoration. God is calling us back to a place of reverence and anointed power. He is calling his leaders to stand straight and to deliver his message no matter the cost, and for those receiving his Word, to be open and movable by his same spirit.

People ask “how do we make such change?”  It begins first in each of us, knowing that the problem does indeed exist, and having the initiative to want to be a part of the cure. Second, it is not necessarily what we will do, but what we will allow God to do. Meaning we must be willing to yield control to God .Thirdly, we must as a body be willing to fully follow in that direction God points, and fourth, stand on what God declares, and walk in it. When we allow the spirit of God to come and take residence in churches, our homes and even our schools. God says today, if we fill these places with his spirit, evil will leave on its own. Fill the house with prayer and thanksgiving. Refuse to accept the things that are not of God. It is when we allow God to mold us rather than us trying to mold God. It is then that we will see a change come and change that is spirit filled, and real.

I truly believe that soon there will be a move of the spirit that will rock the foundations of all we see and know. I believe that Jesus will soon be returning for his people, and that we must be busy making preparations. The time and the hour are not known, but what is known is we have work to do. May God bless each one that hears the voice of God and follows.
