Have you ever just sat back and thought about the things that go on around you? Do you find yourself often considering such things and what is; that makes them happen? Contemplating and trying to understand the problem in an effort to hopefully fix the problem. The other night I believe God showed me something that should make every Christian in town stop and think. God revealed to me a picture of both a sheep and a pack of wolves. He had me to relate the sheep to a fallen soul, or a lost individual. He said that a fallen soul is much like that of a wounded animal, if not mended with loving hands; it will most likely be eaten by the ravenous wolves surrounding them. As Christians we should consider this; the outcome of a lost individual’s future largely lies in who will reach the person first. It is whether the wolves or the saints get there first, which will seriously determine the path, they decide to take.

How many times do we see someone from the body of Christ fall away? After Considering that question now ask ourselves this question; when they did fall, who ran for them first, the Saints or the wolves? Did the wolves get there before the saints? Try relating the wolves to the lost world, and its destructive and ungodly behaviors. At this point of a fallen soul’s state, one of two things will happen. The saints of God will come and work to pick up the individual in love and to restore, or the evil in the world will begin to consume them. They, at that point will see something, from one side or the other. As workers in the body of Christ, it is our duty to reach them first-amen.

How many souls are simply thrown to the way-side and forgotten about? How many people that used to walk through the church halls and worked to glorify God; now, don’t seem to even believe in God? Perhaps the answer can be found right here in this short article? That when the individual’s needed the loving, uplifting hand of a true Christian, the only thing they found were the wolves. At that point it was conform to them, or be eaten. Church, I believe God is trying to tell us something. He is trying to tell us that if this does happen, and the wolves do get to that person first, then sadly another negative mark is placed upon the church. Remember, the only glimpse of God some people will see, is that which they see in us. What we do, or don’t do reflects back on God in their eyes. In Eccl 4; 10 we can read “If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up”!We should do what is said in Heb. 3;13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.

Let us decide to become watchmen of each other. Let us Work to polish each other’s spiritual swords and to promote encouragement and inspiration in the body of Christ. Let us not be judgmental of the visional appearance of a situation but rather try to see things thru God’s eyes. May each of us decide today to take a greater role in the reaching out to others? Where ever God has you today, I know he has a plan for you there. Your ministry lies with simply reaching out your hand in love, and giving back a little of what God has given you.
