Here's my testimony... GOD ANSWERS PRAYER! Oh, it may not be according to how you think it should be answered, or when you think it should be answered and especially not through the avenues in which you have planned for your prayers to be answered - but answered they are indeed! Are you asking?

I was mired in sin - livin' it up in my sin. I was having too much fun to ask, too much guilt not to ask. I have a past that on the surface didn't deserve to have my prayers answered. I was busy searching for love, I was divorced, I was barren, I was depressed, I was fired, I was broke, I was using my God-given talents in a rock band! And I was ashamed. I was broken and didn't know who I was or who I was meant to be. The only thing I knew was that I was forgiven - I had come to Christ before my life had come to any of the events listed had come to pass!

Then slowly I got tired of receiving no answers because I was too ashamed to ask and I began to ask, and then I began to ask boldly and then I began to believe in the answers and then my prayers were answered!

Look at me now - Happy. I am married, a mom, a President of a non-profit, a writer, author, publisher and speaker and a teller of Truth.

Your prayers are meant to be asked. Your prayers are meant to be answered. You can have abundance. You can live the life God intended for you... a blessed and happy life.

That's my sermon for today! Stay tuned for more at: www.getliferightnow.com or www.congregationujaama.blogspot.com

It’s time people. Time to make us known. For the most part our readers are Christians, but some are not. It’s time for us to tell our story of hope and redemption. Our testimonies sit like forgotten clothing in the bottom of our closets. Like the awards and trophies we won in grade school, occasionally we will visit the awards and trophies and recall the days of our victories. And like children others look on in amazement, never having a clue of what God has done in your life.
It seems that testimony time has gone out of style like bell bottoms and dashiki’s. Like a proud parent, God beams as you share the moment of how you came to know Him as He forgave you of your sins and embraced you in His arms. IT’S TIME.
