Philippians 2:1 "If [there be]
therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any
fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,"

This is as if he is asking them if their experience with Christ
was real or not. Are you trusting in Christ? Is His love real to you?
Do you fellowship with Him in your Spirit? Do you really believe in
the mercy of God? Were you really baptized in the Holy Spirit?

Philippians 2:2 "Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having
the same love, [being] of one accord, of one mind."

Then, Paul says, if you answered yes in the verses above, conduct
your life like a Christian. Agree with your Christian brothers and
sisters and make me very happy. Love each other and get along. Be of
one mind in the things of God. Let there be unity in your spirits.

Philippians 2:3 "[Let] nothing [be done] through strife or
vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than
themselves."

Pride causes problems. It seems that a good bit of jealousy was
going on, and Paul speaks against that. Paul is explaining to them
that Christians consider the needs of others before themselves. Love
your neighbor as yourself. Strife and vainglory cause division in the
church. Paul is saying, do not be stubborn and demand your own way.
Think of the needs of others first.

Philippians 2:4 "Look not every man on his own things, but every
man also on the things of others."

One of the main differences in Christian's attitude and the
attitude of the world is that Christians are more thoughtful of others
than the world. A Christian desires success for his Christian brothers
and sisters, as well as his own sucess.

Philippians 2:5 "Let this mind be in you, which was also in
Christ Jesus:"

If we have taken on the mind of Christ, then our thoughts would
be the same thoughts He would have about the same thing. He was
unselfish and thoughtful of others. If we desire to be Christ like,
then we will be unselfish and thoughtful of others.

Philippians 2:6 "Who, being in the form of God, thought it not
robbery to be equal with God:"

Jesus was in the beginning with God, but His name, in heaven
before he came to earth, was the Word of God. It was not robbery,
because He was God the Word. I John 5:7 "For there are three that bear
record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these
three are one." This next Scripture really settles it. John 1:1 "In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word
was God." When the Word of God came to the earth, He took on the form
of flesh and dwelt among us as Jesus Christ, the Son of God. He was
"Emmauel", God with us. He had the flesh of man so that He could be
tempted and suffer as we do in the flesh. The Spirit within the flesh
was God the Word.

Philippians 2:7 "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon
him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:"

Jesus left His title {Word of God} in heaven and took on the
lowly flesh of man. He came to this earth in the form of man to rescue
mankind from their sin. Since the problem was in the flesh of mankind,
Jesus took on flesh. His flesh was in the likeness of man, so that He
could defeat Satan as a man. In heaven, He was worshipped. He left
that to save His creation. He became a lowly servant to mankind. He
had no reputation as Jesus on the earth. His glory was in heaven as
the Word of God.

Philippians 2:8 "And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled
himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."

He wanted to taste every aspect of the suffering on the cross for
you and me. Him being fashioned as a man, He suffered pain as you and
I would. Notice, in the Garden of Gethsemane, He said, my Spirit is
willing, but my flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 "Watch and pray, that ye
enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed [is] willing, but the
flesh [is] weak." He humbled Himself and did the will of the Father.
One must die for the sins of the people. This had to be to free
mankind from sin. Notice, also, that all of this was the will of
Jesus,
{humbled Himself}.

Philippians 2:9 "Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and
given him a name which is above every name:"

This, in a sense, is speaking of God the Father exalting Him.
Whether this name spoken of here is the unspeakable name in heaven, or
not, we do not know. We do know that on the earth this name is Jesus
which means Jehovah Saviour. He was exalted, because he had been
humbled. He had been exalted ruler in heaven, before He came to earth.
This just puts Him in the exalted position He had held in heaven from
the beginning.

Philippians 2:10 "That at the name of Jesus every knee should
bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under
the earth;"

This, now is speaking of His creation, whether in heaven,
earth, or under the earth. Creator God deserves all praise. We should
praise Him that we are recreated in Him at our new birth. We do know
that all prayers made to the Father must be spoken in the name of
Jesus to receive entrance to the throne of God. We do know that He has
given believers on the earth the power of attorney to use the name of
Jesus. We do know that miracles occur in the name of Jesus. There is
great power in the name of Jesus. Look, with me, at some of the other
names this Jesus is called by. Isaiah 9:6 "For unto us a child is
born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his
shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The
mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." My own
belief is that the name {Jesus} encompasses all these names.

We allow "preachers" to say anything in our pulpits and we sayAMEN! We are afraid to be attacked for standing up for the truth. In1980 I was stationed at Kunsan Air Base in South Korea. While there Iheard a Baptist preacher (Who was also a Freemason) tell a group inBible study that "all roads lead to Rome" meaning every religion canget you to heaven. I was a new believer, but I knew this was wrong! Ichallenged him, because NO ONE else would say a word. He was apopular preacher and I was a new convert so you can imagine whoseside everyone lined up on. My point is this, when you hear falsepreaching or teaching SAY SOMETHING! The Apostle Paul was the new kidon the block (Read Galatians) yet he challenged and corrected theChief Apostle Peter for treating the Gentile believers wrong. Ministers are NOT infallible, only the Word of God is! No matter howpopular or how powerful a preacher is, they are NOT above reproach!

But we will continue to devote ourselves steadfastly to prayer andthe ministry of the Word. (Acts 6:4 Amp)

The Five-fold Ministry Gifts
Apostles are leaders and visionaries... they bring direction to the church. They have the courage and ability to keep the Church moving forward, growing, and building in new directions. Apostles are also fathers, able to nurture and disciple the other ministry gifts. They have maturity and experience beyond their fellows and can give guidance as well as leadership. They wear the Helmet of Salvation, which means they walk "within" salvation. They know the mysteries of Christ's salvation. Such knowledge is only acquired through time and experience, trials and testing. An apostle is proven by his example of holiness and demeanor in Christ Jesus. The Helmet of Salvation is not a royal crown: it is the hat of a warrior general who is accustomed to putting his life on the line, for the sake of the Kingdom of God. Many who are in this office will never be recognized as APOSTLES! The reason is this, when a man is truly led by God to establish a work of any kind, it may bristle against the establishment.
The Apostle Paul is a good example of a man on a “Mission from God”, I laugh as I write this because I am reminded of the movie The Blues Brothers, They were the oddest of odd, yet they went through every obstacle because they believed they had a mandate from God. Listening to God is not easy; it can cause you to be treated like an outsider and at times even a rebel! I believe men that are in the office of Apostle are always MISUNDERSTOOD and treated like oddballs. Based upon scriptural precedence apostles are usually the recipients of dreams and visions, Apostles receive an abundance of Revelation from God, Why? They establish ministries and churches. It is quite possible to be an Apostle and NEVER pastor a church.
Contrary to popular belief Paul WAS NEVER A PASTOR! Paul was a TEACHER/APOSTLE. Now another shocker is that PETER was not a PASTOR either, the PASTOR of the church in Jerusalem was JAMES (The Lord’s Brother); Peter was an EVANGELIST/APOSTLE. Apostles usually carry dual roles! Here is another curve for you, Barnabas was an Apostle too, but he was a DEACON/APOSTLE, his ministry was one of service and support yet he was counted as an APOSTLE! I do believe that there are Apostles today, Men that are SENT to establish works according to God’s divine mandate. Now too many guys are starting storefront churches and calling themselves “Apostle”. Real Apostles don’t run around calling themselves APOSTLE! They know it, and they walk in it! The Five-Fold Ministry Gifts are to operate in all of our churches, and each ministry gift is vital. The Pastor is just ONE piece of the puzzle.
Prophets/Prophetess has a strong sense of right and wrong, but even more than that: they have a strong sense of the Spirit’s leading. Their spiritual antennae start quivering when things are going off balance or in wrong directions. Their voice is important for keeping the Church on track in what the Lord wants to do. Prophets also understand justice and are defenders of what is fair and right. Prophets carry the Breastplate of Righteousness, which illustrates the passion and conviction that burns deep within their heart and soul and spirit. "Righteousness" is actually an ethereal word, a supernatural word. True righteousness flows only from the throne of God. Therefore, the insight of the prophet is a very mysterious, deep conviction that is not easily described even by those who walk in this gifting. The purpose is for guidance and revelation, so that the church can learn what it means to be the Holy People of God.
The Prophet/Prophetess must maintain a level of personal holiness that is exemplary. The primary purpose of the prophet is to warn the church of apostasy and help saints press into the holiness and purpose of God. (Elijah and Ezekiel) Unlike the Office of Apostle which is male ordered, women can function in this office as well as men. (Deborah, Huldah, and Phillip’s Daughters)
The Prophet must have an extraordinary prayer life, if you study the life of the Biblical prophet, they were often solitary people. (Elijah and Jeremiah) They didn’t have a lot of friends, this is on purpose! God needs those in the prophetic office to be focused on HIM! The Prophet and the Teacher are similar in this regard; Prophets focus on the inspired word (Rhema) and the Teacher more on the written (Logos). But if you look at Acts 17:11 the Bereans understood the importance of both, but they confirmed the Rhema by studying the Logos! Usually God places Prophets and Teachers as friends and companions for this reason.
Teachers build the foundations of the church. They minister in the Word of God and remind us of the priorities and foundations that will keep us stable in our lives. They teach the church how to be wise in the ways of God. Both teachers and prophets have a special gift for worship because the prophet can worship in "spirit" and the teacher can worship in "truth" and those two characteristics are necessary for true worship. Teachers carry the Belt of Truth, which means they have intimate knowledge of Him who is Truth.
Teachers are guardians of Biblical doctrine (Logos), the Bereans (Acts 17:11) exemplify the character of a Teacher. Teachers search the scriptures. I am a teacher and I study the Word more than the average person, there are times when I have stayed up all night reading entire books of the Bible because I had to determine if something I heard preached in church was accurate. In many cases teachers are somewhat cold, in that they care more for truth than unity or peoples’ feelings. If you remember Paul in Galatians, he read Peter and the Hebrew saints the riot act for the way they allowed the Judaizers to distort the Gospel of Grace. When I hear a sermon that is “off” scripturally it drives me crazy. I believe teachers are like the Scribes of the Old Testament in that they were determined that every jot and tittles would be correct. Pricilla and Aquilla were teachers and they caught Apollos preaching doctrine that wasn’t correct, they pulled him aside and corrected him in love. If a church doesn’t have the office of a teacher within its ranks it is in danger of falling into error. (I Tim. 4:1-4)
Without a proper foundation, buildings don't stand, civilizations don't last, and Christians don't witness well. The foundation I am talking about is the foundation of basic Christian doctrine. Do you know what the Trinity is? How many natures do Jesus have, one or two? Are we saved by grace through faith or by grace and works? For what purpose did Jesus die? Did He rise from the dead? And If so, why?

Perhaps you do not believe that knowing doctrine is important. Maybe you think that we should just tell people about Jesus and let them choose to accept Him or not. Unfortunately, witnessing isn't always that simple. Knowing what and why you believe is essential. For example, if someone says he wants to receive Jesus as Savior but doesn't believe that He is God in flesh, is that important? If someone says that the Trinity is not biblical, what would you say? Is the Holy Ghost a force or God? Doctrine is important because it defines who you put your trust in. It is not simply that you have faith; it's who you put your faith in.
Evangelists are the warriors, the foot soldiers who take the gospel to the remote areas of the world. They advance the gospel and in so doing they battle directly with the hindrances of the gospel as well. There are many more warriors in an army than there are generals and so there must be many, many evangelists in the church. Evangelists wear the Shoes of Peace because they bring news of Peace to a world that suffers in strife and turmoil. Every one of the other 5-Fold Ministers MUST do the WORK of the Evangelist, because soul-winning is EVERY minister’s duty!
Too many of our churches have lost sight of the office of Evangelist and have distorted their purpose by calling “Revivalist” Evangelist, there is difference by a mile. An Evangelist is a SOULWINNER first and foremost; they go into the streets, prisons, hospitals, and mission fields. Many of the people we call “evangelist” are preaching to people already saved. A revivalist preaches to people already saved to inspire and fire them up, this really more of the ministry of the Prophet, an Evangelist bottom line is REACHING THE LOST and preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The motto of an Evangelist could be a quote from Paul, “Woe unto me if I preach not the Gospel!”
Pastors nurture the flock and comfort them. They build up the sheep in the most holy faith. They tend to the wounded and the sick and have skills for healing. The pastor leads the healthy sheep into good pastures so they will eat well and be strong. And, the pastor looks for the sheep who have wandered away so that none will be lost. Pastors carry the Shield of Faith. Often a warrior was protected by an armor bearer who held his shield for him. In the same way, pastors will shield those who need it until they are strong again. They hover over their flock to build them and strengthen them in the faith. The pastor is not distant from the sheep. The pastor is next to them and among them, holding the Shield in order to deflect the flaming arrows, the weapons, and the wild beasts that would destroy. The pastor works one on one so that his sheep will prosper. A flock that prospers is a direct credit to the shepherd who oversees them. A Pastor has to love the sheep, too often people choose Pastors because they can preach well, but eloquence is not the earmark of a great Pastor, it is LOVE. Pastors have to care for those that are hurting and broken, and at the same time be open to have the other 4 ministry offices SHARE in the ministry. I think too often it has been supposed that the office of Pastor is the most important office, but they all are equally important. A Pastor needs an Evangelist to bring souls into a place where they can be nurtured and fed the sincere milk of the Word of God.

THE STAGE OF BITTER (EXODUS 15;22-27)

The stage of bitter is where God intervene.

Everybody in this life has ever been through this stage. And this is a stage that courses one or people to complain.

In this world we hear of complains from every angle and from many categories of people such as Ministers of the Gospel, Doctors, Business men and women etc.

The Bible says Moses led the people, they came from a place where there was sea or water, but they ended up in a desert. From the red sea they arrived at a desert. All these represent from one challenge to another, from one difficulty to another, from worst to worst. That is exactly what many people are experiencing now on earth. About 70 to 90 percent are going through this situation.

Let us ask ourselves now whether we are among the 70 to 90 or among the 10 percent? For among the 10 percent, God reveal His saving power. That is where I called “the place of stage of bitter.†It is a season that when you are into, it can affect your marriage, ministry, job etc. which make those people’s life seem not complete.

For 3 days, the Bible says the children of Israel traveled in the desert without water of food. Your stage of bitter is means you are from the sea and now into the desert. When you get to that stage, you would see good things around you but not being able to enjoy those good things because you are in a stage of bitter. Even money would seem not to be of any value to you because you feel bitter all around. When that happens, you start to talk or blame about people. You become bitter from within. You begin to talk about men of God etc. but God is bringing this message to turn your situation around. This message is timely one for most people.

The people were questioning Moses “what are we going to eat or drink?†Perhaps you are also asking this question, that is why I bring this message to you to bring you to a place of transformation because this stage in your life does not matter as compared to the power of God.

Moses then came in to intervene by praying to God. He drew God’s attention at this stage. Let us ask ourselves whether we are able to do the same as Moses did at this stage. For most of us we rather complain instead of praying to God. But the Bible says as soon as Moses prayed, he received a direction from God to place a piece of wood into the bitter water.

Moses was a Prophet of the Most High God so God show him a piece of wood to use. This indicates that, each time we come to this stage, we need to go to God and to hear from Him rather than human.

Note that before you can come out from this stage of bitter, you have to master the word of God. When you pray, it is the word that is inside you that add to your prayer to produce results or product for you. Remember also that not just that God gave Moses a direction or showed him a piece of wood but He again told him what he was to do with that piece of wood. He said he should throw it in the water. So God does not only show you something but He also tells you what to do with that thing. The devil would never be complete because he has no information, though he pretends he has. The devil always copy and paste. And he does this on the children of God by making them become bitter. That is why you need to forget about the bitter stage and to go to God for a new touch, also known as fresh anointing which will cause things to turn for your good because the Bible says the water became sweet.

Today as you read this, it is my prayer that the Spirit of God will touch you. You will not just read the word but will do as the word is telling you.

The Bible says God gave them a law which also means the word of God during that stage for them to live by. He also tested them with this word. You can’t go to school without being tested by your teacher on what he has taught you before. The same thing applies to God. When we study His word, we will be tested but we will definitely pass the test in the end because we study the word very well. Receive that Grace right now!

It is good to pay attention to the word of God and by reading the word of God; you will get the clear voice of God. Prayer is second to the word of God. The word of God should always come before prayer.

People thing when they pray, answers are sure to come to them. God does nothing without His word. So to receive answers to your prayer would depend on what is inside of you. The delay to the answers to your prayer like in the case of Daniel will depend on the word inside you.

Always do the right thing in the site of God. He said if you keep His word inside you, He will heal you. God will bring you out of that stage of bitter.

So He said once you take His word, He will not bring any bitter thing in your life. The stop point has come. I see it in the realm of the spirit. Your season is today and I see that stage stopping. It can’t continue! Egyptians stands for world wide remember, but you are peculiar.

The problems we go through in life are as a result of ignorance. For He says I am the Lord that healed thee. So if He heals, then I declare you receive your healing, your blindness to go, anointing to come upon you now!

The anointing coming from this word should destroy any yolk. Before 2009, I stand as a prophet of God relieving you from every stage of bitter. Every obstacle on your way shall be removed. I give receive and give you a strong power from God to continue your next level where by others who knew you before will see it and testify saying; things have changed for you.

Where ever you are reading, may the hand of Jehovah touch you! Now you are free to make it in life.

This prophetic word has given you another stage in life where your bitter is turned to sweet. Your business, marriage etc will turn to be sweet. Everything around you will turn to be sweet because God has brought you into a new season. If I be a prophet of the most high God hmmmm, hmmmm, receive your new season now! Just pause reading for 5 to 10 minutes, I see something stop suddenly and God said He has covered you with the blood of Jesus.

Finally, He said they came to Elim where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees and they camped near the water which means God brought them an everlasting rest. That their stage of bitter was ended. So applies to you, as you have received this word, may your life change for ever for good. Use the Bible as the only principal thing for living. Do not jump from one place to the other. Just stick to the word.

If you are confused and do not know what to do, please contact me. For was ordained just for you.

GENERAL RULES OF BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION

The interpreter must be saved and dependent on the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 2:13-16).
Assume the Bible is authoritative and inerrant
The Bible interprets itself; Scripture best explains Scripture
Interpret experience in light of Scripture; not the other way around
Biblical examples are authoritative only when supported by a command
Church history is important but not decisive in interpretation

GRAMMATICAL RULES OF BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION

Scripture has only one meaning
Take Scripture as normal language; “plain sense of the language”
Interpret words in harmony with their meaning in times of the author
Interpret according to the context
If an inanimate object describes a living being -- then it's figurative
If an expression is out of character with thing described -- it’s figurative
Don’t make a parable “walk on all fours” -- it has only one point
Prophetic statements are to be taken normally -- unless the context compels otherwise

HISTORICAL RULES OF BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION

Interpret in light of biblical historical context
Revelation is progressive; later revelation explains earlier
Events of history become spiritual truths only if Scripture designates

THEOLOGICAL RULES OF BIBLICAL INTERPRETATION

Scripture must be understood grammatically before theologically
A doctrine is not biblical unless it sums up all that Scripture says
No contradictions in Scripture: e.g. sovereignty and responsibility
An implied teaching must have support in another passage.

MERCHANDISING THE ANOINTING
Prov 23:4-5 (NIV) Do not wear yourself out to get rich; have the wisdom to show restraint. Cast but a glance at riches, and they are gone, for they will surely sprout wings and fly off to the sky like an eagle.

Wealth as transitory and can leave faster than it was acquired. Notice the scripture says “Cast a glance at riches…” The message of Prosperity is consumed with the concept of attaining riches. The preachers often convince the hearers that IF you give to THEM God will give to YOU! That is the essence of Prosperity preaching. Back in the 60’s there was a preacher named “Rev. Ike”, he was the Godfather of this preaching and teaching. He used to promise people that they would have “Good Luck” if they gave money to him. Rev. Ike was very obvious and wasn’t very scriptural in his delivery. But today’s false prophets are more skilled in twisting the Word of God.

As time moved on the Prosperity Preachers became much craftier at using scripture to justify their larceny. Oral Roberts coined the phrase, Sowing Seed, He suggested that money is seed to be sown into ministries (his in particular) in order to REAP a harvest. The scripture is very clear when it speaks of SEED and HARVEST, Jesus was speaking of the WORD as the seed, and the harvest is LOST SOULS! The devil has taken the emphasis off of souls and placed it on MONEY! I have seen offerings in churches last longer than altar calls.
The 70’s introduced the PTL Club and the ministry of Jim and Tammy Bakker. They bilked millions of dollars out of people with the “name it and claim it” message. Jim Bakker has since repented of his larceny, and NOW preaches against Prosperity Preaching. Jim Bakker realized the error of his teaching while in prison, and had time to actually read the Bible. I praise God for his courage to refute the garbage he spewed earlier in his life.
Materialism is a sin and the Prosperity Message has clouded it and made it acceptable. If you see the typical Prosperity Prophet of today they all have more bling than a Gangsta Rapper! The loud suits and alligator shoes make them seem like ministry is the path to wealth, and if you SOW into THEIR ministry some how GOD will make you a partaker of their BLING! No where do you see or hear this way of life in the walk of Jesus our Lord and Savior.
Luke 14:33 (Phi) "Only the man who says goodbye to all his possessions can be my disciple."

Luke 14:33 (TEB) Concluded Jesus, "none of you can be my disciple unless he gives up everything he has."

Luke 14:33 (RSV) "Whoever of you does not renounce all that he has cannot be my disciple."

Luke 3:11 (NIV) John answered, "The man with two tunics should share with him who has none, and the one who has food should do the same."

Luke 6:30 (Jer) "Give to everyone who asks you, and do not ask for your property back from the man who robs you."

Now don’t get mad with me just read what Jesus said! Does our savior seem to agree with the preachers of greed that infest our TV’s and radio waves? This simply doesn’t line up with the “Name it Claim It” message of today. Wake up saints! Who are we going to agree with Jesus or the disciples of Prosperity? I get ridiculed all of the time because I am accused of “touching God’s anointed” When I criticize the likes of Benny Hinn and Oral Roberts. If some of these guys were in the Old Testament they would be stoned. Most Christians are so timid and awestruck by these preachers that they are scared to challenge their false teaching.
