Apostles must use the Name of Jesus for Deliverance

She earned a great deal of money for her owners by fortune-telling. 17This girl followed Paul and the rest of us, shouting, "These men are servants of the Most High God, who are telling you the way to be saved." 18She kept this up for many days. Grace and Peace Apostles: It is certainly noted tha the resonate application of the name of Jesus is mandatory in the practice of kingdom deliverance. I believe it is a critical component of the Apostolic assignment to serve as kingdom guardians of the application of Jesus name. Today so many different factions and styles of ministry abandon the calling of the name of Jesus reducing his name to some exclusive denominational practice instead ensuring that his name remain a biblical mandate to those who align themselves to the Kingdom agenda and not a church or religious agenda.

How dare anyone to think that a demon would flee without the name of Jesus being spoken.....Why should they...there is no other name above the name of Jesus and every demon must come subject to it....Glory to Jesus!!!

You know what else I find to be awe invoking; the fact that we not only have the name of the Lord (Jesus) as a weapon, but we also have the very precense of the Lord in the midst of demonic confrontation. That not only when we utter the name Jesus the enemy also see Jesus (not through us but us in Jesus). ***Proverbs 18:10 The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and they are safe ***

While I agree in the invocation of the name of Jesus.  It is also important that we don't not think of the name of the Lord Jesus as a "magic wand", as the sons of Sceva discovered.  It is not just the name, but it is the anointing that destroys the yoke.

 

We must remember that the phrase "in the name of Jesus" is a legal term, denoting power of attorney.  Without relationship there is no right to use the power of attorney.

 

Keep the relationship fresh.  We can only use the name if we have a relationship with the Master, the Lord Jesus.

It would amaze me to think that any minister of the Gospel would not use THE NAME OF JESUS when he/she is either in deliverance ministry or nay other ministry in that case. The name of Jesus is not just any name. It first connotes the authority one is moving under. It is a covering. This name is not like Saul's armor to David but one that empowers the believer to walk in victory over all powers.  Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no other One; for there is no other name under Heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 10:43 All the prophets give witness to Him, that through His name whoever believes in Him shall receive remission of sins. Matthew 1:21 And she shall bear a son, and you shall call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.

The Name of Jesus SAVES(Sozo-Gk) This saving is not just from sin but from sickness, torment, and in all aspects of life. Using any other name is like Pharaoh trying to compete with the God of Moses through his magicians.

Dear Fellow Servants of God:

 

I'm truly enjoying this discussion.  It's very pertinent that we discuss the bible basics of our belief.  Many who stand behing the pulpit have forgone basic biblical study or spiritual developing/mentring etc.  It is quite refreshing to hear from excellent vessels who are well aware of the power that's in Jesus name.  It is beyond debate and denominationalism.  It is truth.  John 14:6 points the way, Jesus Christ is the common denominator and author and finisher of our faith.  The new Kingdom move is God's move to finally call all of us back to the basics so that we realized the power and authority that the King demands!  If we truly want to walk in the Kingdom and manifest the mighty exploits of God, we must use the NAME! The bible is replete with divine direction of this weapon and divine strategy It all begins with the WORD.  Thank GOD for His WORD confirms the purpose, power and authority of His great name.  Be blessed.
