Brother Brown: I am not the founder/director of this group. A few weeks ago I was doing an internet search on a Minister I saw on TBN and was led to this site. I joined and have shared some of what is going on in my life and ministry but have not received much back in the way of interaction. The posts I have primarily received are from people who are promoting some time of event or program of their own -- more like advertising. The experience for me has not been what I hoped it would be -- networking and connecting, but rather persons promoting their own agendas. My humblest apologies to all that might find my observation offensive.

Please help me. I am new member of the Fellowship of Florida Pastors. What I need to know going forward what is the mission statement and the primary purpose of this organization. Are there any teleconferences being held and if so when and how do I go about obtaining the access codes? Is there a speakers' bureau within the organization to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge, wisdom, and experiance contained within the spirits and hearts of 189 members? Are there any established way within the organization to facilitate a door of opportunity so a member not being used of the Lord might find that opportunity? I see on this page that most of the blogs were written by L.J. Conway; is she the founder/director of this group?

40 Days To A New Day - Day Seven - PDL Chpt. Seven "The Reason For Everything" "Everything comes from God alone. Everything lives by his power, and everything is for his glory. (Rmns 11:36b TLB) PDL chapter 7 declares "The ultimate goal of the universe is to show the glory of God...All sin, at its root, is failing to give God glory...None of us have given God the full glory he deserves from our lives. This is the worst sin and the biggest mistake we can make. On the other hand, living for God's glory is the greatest achievement we can accomplish with our lives." Today's PDL question is "Where in my daily routine can I become more aware of God's glory?"

40 Days To A New Day - Day Six - PDL Chapt. Six "Life Is a Temporary Assignment""So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." (2 Cor. 4:18 NIV) PDL declares that "Life on earth is a temporary assignment. To make the best use of your life, you must never forget two truths: First, compared with eternity, life is extremely brief. Second, earth is only a temporary residence...Your identity is in eternity, and your homeland is heaven... How should the fact that life on earth is just a temporary assignment change the way I am living right now?"

Beginning Sunday, Nov. 22, 2009, marks 40 days not only to the new year but also a new decade. I invite everyone to join me in a time of consecration, rededication, and self denial as we usher in what may be the decade of Christ's return. Get out your copy of "Purpose Driven Life" (DPL) by Rick Warren and join me for a 5:55 a.m. and 5:55 p.m. prayer time (for 10 to 15 minutes) as we pray the day in and pray the evening in.
