THE EYES ENLIGHTENER!

1Sam 14:25"And all they of the land came to a wood; and there was honey upon the ground. 26And when the people were come into the wood, behold, the honey dropped; but no man put his hand to his mouth: for the people feared the oath. 27But Jonathan heard not when his father charged the people with the oath: wherefore he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb, and put his hand to his mouth; and his eyes were enlightened."

 

* Jonathan's eyes were enlightened, not when he found the honey in the wood, nor when he put forth the end of the rod that was in his hand, and dipped it in an honeycomb; his eyes were enlightened after he put his hand to his mouth(doer). That was an eyes enlightener to him that day and he wanted others to see to that effect - 1Sam 14:29"...see, I pray you, how mine eyes have been enlightened, because I tasted a little of this honey."

 

An Enlightener is able;

1. To give information or understanding to; instruct; edify

2. To free from ignorance, prejudice, or superstition; convert

3. To give spiritual revelation to, illuminate, direct, teach

4. To shed light on, give faith, uplift, train, educate, update, inform

5. To give intellectual or spiritual light  to; impart knowledge to...

 

* Nothing enlightens the spiritual eyes like the WORD of God; It can edify the weak, convert sinners, teach the secret for success, inform the ignorant and give faith to move mountain to everyone who cares to study & apply it in their lives - Psa 19:7"The law(word) of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. 8The statutes(words) of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes. 9The fear of the LORD(word) is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments(words) of the LORD are true and righteous altogether. 10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb. 11Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward."

 

Sweeter Than Honey:

Psa 119:103"How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!"

> The words of God goes deeper than honey to enrich your live, strengthen your bones, deliver you from distruction, create a new you, boost your faith to live again, opens your eyes to see better than others, opens your ears to understanding instruction, quickens your hands to do great things, makes you wiser than your teachers and smarter that the elders & your enemies, fills your life with good things; the world world cannot contain all that the words of God can give - Jn 21:25"And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen."

 

Doers Of The Word of God Changes The World   

Psa 19:1"The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. 2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. 3There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.

4Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun, 5Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race. 6His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof."

 

Acts 17:2"And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures, 3Opening and alleging, that Christ must needs have suffered, and risen again from the dead; and that this Jesus, whom I preach unto you, is Christ. 4And some of them believed, and consorted with Paul and Silas; and of the devout Greeks a great multitude, and of the chief women not a few. 5But the Jews which believed not, moved with envy, took unto them certain lewd fellows of the baser sort, and gathered a company, and set all the city on an uproar, and assaulted the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. 6And when they found them not, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the rulers of the city, crying, These that have turned the world upside down are come hither also; 7Whom Jason hath received: and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, one Jesus."

> There's no situation you can't change with the words of God, and there's no kingdom you can't shake with the words of God; let the whole world feel the HEAT of God's Word that's in you, reason the Scriptures with the people until they see the reason to believe that Jesus is the Only Saviour of the world!

 

Beware Of Deceiption

Matt 7:24"Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it."

 

Jas 1:21"Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed."

 

Eph 5:6"Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. 7Be not ye therefore partakers with them. 8For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light: 9(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) 10Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. 12For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. 13But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light. 14Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."

 

Col 2:18"Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, 19And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God."

> Deceiption, rooted in tradition & religion of men works to decrease the effectiveness of God's word in their victims, be at alert and hold unto the Head the Word of God for your daily nourishment/renewal!

 

Importance Of This Enlightenment

Eph 1:17"That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places."..

> It will save you from ignorance of devils devices, bondage of tradition, religious and superstitious beliefs; opens you up to revelation of the kingdom of God, uplifts you to new level in Christ, makes you bolder than your fellows, gives you assunrance in the calling & inheritance of the saints in Christ, strong believe in the power of God, eradicates doubt & fear and renews your strength daily to the glory of God.

 

* You can't depend on His word and be helpless in life - Psa 3:2"Many(challenges & enemies) there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. 3But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head."

Heb 13:5"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. 6So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me...20Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen."
