B-U CAPTURES 3 NOMINATIONS
B-U will headline at the 2010 Rhythm of Gospel Awards

RALEIGH, NC: B-U, the high energy gospel rap/holy hip hop husband and wife duo from Raleigh, NC will be headliners for the National and Independent Gospel Music Association’s 2010 Rhythm of Gospel Awards, which will take place Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Canon Center in Memphis, TN. They will be featured along with other independent gospel artist from the NC area such as C.O.G., and Michael Boykin & the Mighty Voices.

B-U is also looking for bring back some special item(s) as their summer 2010 release project, Tell Me the Truth, has already receive recognition in the form of (3) Rhythm of Gospel Awards nominations in the categories: Holy Hip Hop Song of the Year (for Righteous Know Why), Holy Hip Hop Group of the Year and Rhythm of Gospel Video of the Year (for Come On).

They are no strangers to this event, in 2008 B-U received (2) Rhythm of Gospel Award nominations.

The Rhythm of Gospel Awards is an event designed to be an evening of entertainment and recognition, hosted by The National & Independent Gospel Music Association but produced by founder and executive director Mr. Mark Rogers and co-produced by Trenton Ware and Maurice Cheairs.

This televised award show recognizes outstanding churches/pastors, choirs and independent gospel music artist of all genres, for their outstanding contributions towards the betterment and advancement of their communities.
The Rhythm of Gospel Awards Show offers a platform for “Independent Gospel Artist” and gives them the opportunity to network formally while congratulating trailblazers of various sectors in all communities in a positive collaboration towards bringing all ethnicities together.
