Hello Brethren,
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF DREAMS AND VISIONS

Ecclesiastes 3: 1
1 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven (JKV).

When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable. Purpose is the reason for a thing. There is a reason why God chooses to reveal those secrets to you in dreams and visions. Why?!

a) Prayers
The major purpose of dreams and visions is to stir men to seek the face of God. When we don’t understand the dreams/visions, it should make us to pray. If we do not pray about it we may be giving room to the enemy to operate, after all it is written, “Given no room to the devil.”

Ask prayerfully to know the meaning of your dreams and visions. Daniel prayerfully sought the face of God for the interpretation of the king’s dream but today when believer’s sees dreams or visions we take them lightly. Please wake up!

I believe in dreams and visions!

b) Warning

Matthew 2: 12
12 And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way. (RSV)

Man does not know what will happen tomorrow but God does. And for man to fulfill God’s purpose there is a need to warn him of any danger on is ways. God warns us in dreams so that we can escape the attacks of the enemies.

c) Correction

Job 33: 17
17 to turn man from wrongdoing… (NIV)

Any man who refuses correction is heading for destruction without knowing. A lot of people have refused to be corrected and they didn’t live to tell the story though some do but the stories are never pleasant.
God gives us prophetic dreams and visions to correct us, to turn us from wrongdoing. If God gives you a dream about a habit of yours, He is simply saying, Change!

I used to watch movies a lot. One day I had a dream that I was watching gospel musical movies. I start singing the songs but in reality I don’t have any gospel musical movies and in the dream I told myself I will buy some.
God just corrected me. It simply means I am giving a lot of my time to non-profitable movies. I should give myself over to watching the right things. I know brethren that God has tried to correct you many times through dreams and visions but you refuse to be corrected. I pray that you will have a correctable spirit in Jesus name.

d) Preservation and Protection
You will not know the interpretation of your dreams and visions until you need the information. Information will keep you from destruction. Prophetic dreams and visions come from God to inform us in order to preserve and protect us.

When you are properly informed, you will be in form. Your level of preparation depends on your level of information.

Keep Jamaica in your prayers. There is a fresh wind of God as He is uniting His church. We have grown tired of the mayhem and we are coming together for change. This is going to affect all sectors of society. Pray for the pastors leading the charge that we will be keep safe from the schemes of those who will try to stop this.

I have an excitement in my Spirit. I sense we are stepping into the season of harvest (HAVE REST). It is a season of rest. In Matt. 9:37, Jesus said "...the harvest is plentious..." it means Harvest is a season of plenty, abundance, overflow. The paradox about the season of harvest is that it normally occurs during dry season; this implies that when men are experiencing dryness those who have sown shall be experiencing plenty. No wonder the bible says in Job 22:29, "When men are cast down, then thou shall say, There is lifting up ..." If you've sown a seed of prayer, money, etc since the year began. Get ready because your HARVEST is colliding with you this season.

One day when i was sitting under the blue sky watching star shining i had a small dream. the dream which made me cry.I didn't know the meaning of dream until i realize my friend had died due to drowning.She was my classmate and good christian. She taught me that God is always there to help you even if whole leaves you.
Now i have decided to start a project called HOPE which will be helping all the poor and needy people of the village. There are lots of people dying without knowing about Jesus Christ and I intend to preach the gospel and save those life.
I think we all have heard the song called
we are one body though we are many
we are one body in Christ
So please pray for me and the project which i will be starting as soon as possible. I am also having some financial problem so please pray for this too.
