James 2:19-22 (King James Version)
19Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Hello friends,
In 1 John 5:4,5 we are told that the victory which overcomes the world is our faith.
Faith is a weapon. You can't have it and not show it. Faith silences the voice of opposition.

We are an overcomer through our faith. What do we overcome? We overcome the devil, the world and every other challenge.
You are born to overcome.

I am still looking forward to hear from you in connect to be your guest speaker or minister. I am not asking for fund but I am asking for an opportunity to be a blessing to your congregation. My details are +2348036726337, email:dkterencepastorg@yahoo.com

Dreams, Visions or the Word

Jeremiah 23:28 - The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream;
and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully [in truth].
What is the chaff [hay] to the wheat? saith the LORD.

When Jesus had to teach about the Kingdom of God He used the words
wheat / corn, interestingly the Hebrew word wheat / corn comes from
the root word 'pure' or 'chosen'. In one parable He even compares the
redeemed children of God as seeds. Here too the Lord is symbolizing
His Word / His redeemed children to wheat / corn in sense of purity.

Coming to the dreams, one may say did not the Lord give the Word
through His chosen ones mostly through dreams? Then why is He
comparing dreams to chaff?

Understand the Lord is saying dreams or Word. When He used the term
Word it includes everything that makes the Word including the dreams
given by Him for the salvation of mankind.

In this scripture the term dream refers to those dreams which are not the Word.

The Word of God required for the salvation of mankind was completed by Jesus.

Whatever dreams or visions we get even those from the Lord cannot be
contradictory to the Word. Those which contradict are from the evil
one or our carnal mind. These dreams are like chaff which is feed for
His livestock. We are called the flock of the Shepherd and these
visions are basically to build, help, guide, nourish us and they
cannot be compared to the seeds (wheat / corn).

So having dreams or visions coming from the Lord is of help but
without the Word in us we will not be able to discern them and may
fall in a pit. Therefore the Word in us is more important than dreams
and visions.

[Prayer Starter]
Lord God, You gave man the Word so has to instruct and guide man to
his salvation which is You. You came in the flesh and completed the
Word. Lord we pray that we have more and more of this Seeds in us and
that they come to life in us. Make us like fertile soil so that your
Seeds multiple and spread unto others...

We make this prayer in Jesus' Name, Amen.

[Reference Scriptures]
Matthew 13:3-9
3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a
sower went forth to sow;
4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls
came and devoured them up:
5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and
forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:
6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had
no root, they withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:
8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an
hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.
9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Luke 21:37-38; 22:1-2
37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he
went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.
38 And all the people came early in the morning to him in the temple,
for to hear him.
1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the
Passover [but was not the real Passover].
2 And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him;
for they feared the people.

Let's Live A Life Of Praise Unto the Lord

Psa 9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
Quote

It is distrust of God to be troubled about what is to come; impatience against God to be troubled with what is present; and anger at God to be troubled for what is past.
SIMON PATRICK (1625–1707)

Today's Verses - KJV

Luke 10:38-42 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house. And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things: But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

My Thoughts and Comments

Do we all, at times, get so involved in cares and be troubled about many things? Is it possible as ministers and teachers that we get so involved, in good things that we fail to spend quality time alone with the Lord? Do we come from the presence of God to minister to others or do we just try in our own abilities?
A lot of us are like Martha. We get so involved in doing what seems to be necessary but leave out the most important things. It is easy to substitute activity for what is really necessary. Being busy is never a substitute for being alone with Jesus and hearing what He has to say. Many a ministry has fallen because they spent too much time listening to people and not enough time with Jesus in prayer and study of His Word. Martha was doing work for Jesus but Mary was with Jesus. Big difference. Mary knew house work needed to be done but time spent listening to Jesus was of more importance to her. Jesus commended her for this. What occupies our minds and our time? We are never ready to do anything until we have spent time with Jesus. Jesus while He was here as a man would get alone in prayer to the Father, sometimes all night! Beloved if He needed to do that who are we to think we don't need to? We need to understand that prayer is not a one way conversation, we need to pause and let the Lord speak to us as well! 1 Th 5:17-19 Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Phil 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Phil 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We should be applying these verses to our daily walk with the Lord. We must never stop praying, our very life depends on it! When we pray we are to give thanks believing we have the answer to our prayers. The Spirit of the Lord within us urges us to pray, let's not quench that Spirit! If we will do as these verses say we will experience the peace of God continually in our lives. Praise the Lord! Beloved, the Word of the Lord will not benefit us unless we become doers of it! Meditate on it!

Prayer

Lord God, help us to keep the thing that is most needed foremost in out lives. May we never place activity before fellowship with You. We ask in faith believing we receive what we ask for so we give thanks in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Apostle Paul Johnson Asamoah: Psalm 37:7

“Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for Him;

do not fret when men succeed in their ways,

when they carry out their wicked schemes.”

Perhaps we are all tempted to worry from time to time,

but there are some folks who seem to take it on as their task in life.

They even go so far as to worry that they

are not worrying enough. (Just kidding ― I think).

One of the greatest illustrations I think I ever heard about worry

was given by one of my all- time favorite preachers,

Donald Grey Barnhouse, who was pastor

of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Barnhouse tells the story of his wife worrying about everything.

She would be after him about the most trivial matter she was worrying about.

He finally gave her a small notebook that he called her “worry book.”

He asked her to write all of her worries in the book

and each Saturday morning they would sit down

and she could go over all of her worries,

and only then would she mention them.

The first Saturday morning he asked her to open her worry book

and tell him what she was worrying about.

Every item she had written in the book had not been worth the worry,

so she had scratched them off.

He asked if there were not some legitimate issues

and she said there were, but she did not have time to worry

about them before they resolved themselves.

After a few weeks she agreed that all of her fruitless worry

was only trying to do what God alone can do.

He holds our future in His hand and knows what is best for us.

What are you worrying about?

Do you need a worry book?

I am Rasa Manjari devi dasi (Vigi). I live on wonderful Europe's middle part. An one with legendary past is beautiful in a homeland, in Hungary. I thank me for being allowed to be here with a grateful heart. The road of the affection is my road. I believe the fact of my birth: I was born from a god's will get down. Because of that, that let me water the flowers of the affection. Particularly where the flowers are not seen yet! I ask a god's blessing into your heart!
