Identity. So unique. So critically important. So grossly misunderstood. The Creator brings us to the age of enlightenment. We are no longer confused. We are Word made flesh.

Let's start with the simple phrase taken from Scripture that states "If my people which are called by my name..." and begin at this concept. Familial status is exactly what this phrase is inferring. Just as your family birth name reflects by whose name you are called, man is alerted to the fact that the God child is called by God's name. Now, for reasons of bondage and ignorance, religion has taught us to be afraid of being called by our Maker's name: Creator, Light, Word. In fact, we are all of these, and more. The Bible tells us that Jesus did not think it robbery to be equal with God, and neither should you. Call yourself by your family name and by what you are! You have all power because of familial status through Him. You have all dominion by bloodline. You have all authority through His name. You have all wealth and health because of your family name. Would you want your offspring disowning you and calling themselves by someone else's name? What's in a name? The difference between living in power or poverty.

In looking at the naming of Adam (mankind) in the garden, when the Creator brought forth Woman out of mankind, Adam did not initially call her by a separate name from himself (Genesis 2:23). The fallen Adam after the plummet into sin renamed his wife Eve, thereby beginning the first identity crisis. Man saw himself separately from Woman, no longer as one. Woman was now called by something less than what her created self. She was no longer identified by her co-regency, but rather by her function: the mother of all living. Nonetheless, the unfallen Adam spoke exactly what Woman was...Adam: the same in every way with the exception of a womb (woman). A rose by any other name is still a rose.

The first Adam was the Created Son of God, while mankind has been so focused on the Only Begotten of God. Both, however, are Heirs of God. The second Adam came to model for the offspring of the first Adam what our true estate is in the Universe. The second Adam brought the Kingdom of God to the earth once again , and then spoke into the offspring of the first Adam the words of eternal truth, "The Kingdom of God is within you." Mankind never stopped being the children of God, though wayward and disobedient. Blood ties and familial DNA cannot be erased. Mankind, having been kidnapped, held hostage, and brain-washed by the effects of sin (missing the mark), fell from the estate of majesty through the process of fallen thoughts. Before any act of sin starts, the thought is first conceived in the mind. Man's thoughts are fallen far before actions manifest. This then explains how the Kingdom of God is within you...your thoughts must be transformed by the renewing of your mind to elevate you back to the estate of the Kingdom. Just as you descend to the depths first through your thoughts, so you will ascend back to the throne first through your thoughts. This process starts from within. As a man thinks in his heart, so he is. While unenlightened minds may challenge the validity of one's spiritual and God-given royalty, identity must be crystal clear to each individual. A rose by any other name is still a rose.

Being created in the image of the Creator made mankind spirit-beings because God is spirit and not flesh. The properties of God are purely spiritual and not physical. Mankind must, then, begin being transformed by the renewing of the mind into this God-image being. The containment suit of our fleshly bodies are in no way correlated to the image of God into which we are created. The God-image beings we are speak, and what we speak comes to pass. Isaiah 57:19b "I create the fruit of the lips." What we think about and what we thank about is what we bring about." What you speak is what you create. You are a Creator because you imminate from the Creator. You transcend time, space, and all limitations of the physical. You are eternal. You create the eternity that will be yours. It's all created by your choices, your thoughts, and the words of your mouth in your confessions.

DNA imprints the characteristics of the parent into the children's genes. It identifies the child as the offspring of the parent, even if the child or the parent attempts to disown the other. That genetic stamp can never be disabled. It is within them. So is the Kingdom of God within you. That stamp of DNA will never be erased. The only thing that stops you from being Creator, Light, Word, God is you! And even if you aren't, you still are! A rose by any other name is STILL a rose!
