Since I was a very young boy, I have been affiliated with the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. My childhood Pastor was a proud member of the Convention. I can still recall him sharing stories about the great preachers-pastors that helped to shape the Cenvention. I have had the opportunity to hear Dr. Shaw on many ocasions. He is certainly keeping the traditions, customs and culture of the Convention alive and well.

My church Antiocheast Baptist is apart of the 5th Distict Atlanta, GA the largest in district the State of GA. Pres. Dr. M. Davis & Dean my dad Dr. John F. Willams. This Distict has some of Gods best preachers like Dr. Jasper Williams, Dr. R. L. White & many more!

Our church is a member-church of the Friendship District Association here in Texas. Our Moderator is Rev. McKinley Jackson. I am the financial secretary of the District which is comprised of 30 baptist churches. I will make every effort to invite all members with internet capability to join this group. JMS
